My FRiend. Eating meat is not a defense of abuse. First slaughter animals are not domesticated companion animals. Second they are humanly killed, usually by a strike right through the brain.
Cows are not pack animals, they have no deference to obey or trust the rancher. Dogs are social animals and these we lead into a crude and likely based on the testimony, weakly functioning gassing chamber.
This would have led to a slow and traumatic death. Thereby cruel. And in violation of the statutes for professional euthanasia. For that he should be fined and imprisoned. I might add, mentally evaluated.
It is obvious he knew what he was doing and had been cited for other violations and purposed to subvert the law. For that he is guilty. But this has nothing to do with any hypocrisy on behalf of those who hunt, or eat meat or who do neither.
This is a simple open and shut case and the full extent of the law should be applied.
Yeah. A dog is not a cow a cow is not a bug, a bug is not a bacterium, etc. Distinctions can, have been, and should be drawn.

You have more patience than I do. A lot of the negative posts are from Tough Macho Guys who “shock” to impress how adequate they are. Ironic that they then support abuse and mentally sadistic people as ‘manly” and “just life”.
I am only grateful that I see them only occasionally on Freeper and do not have to interact with them on a daily basis. I pray for those who do.
Humaness to all animals is a sign of confidence and caring for ALL God’s creatures. I trust those who treat animals with respect and kindness to treat humans the same way, and amazingly, the research says the same thing.
