at $21 a pack. Yes, that's over $2.50 a shot.

Ouch. George Soros couldn't afford the photos I take with digital if I used polaroid.

Only available now in B&W, color will be later this year

My 90 year old grandmother loved her polaroid, and has been upset since she can’t get film anymore

So hopefully the color film will be out by Xmas

Polaroid was too expensive for me back when it was cheap!
I’ve always liked cameras you can adjust anyway, I like to turn dials and push buttons.

My Dad worked for Polaroid for 35 years.Polaroid’s founder,Edwin Land, was the Bill Gates of the 50’s/60’s/70’s...he was a true scientific genius as were the scientists he surrounded himself with.Yes,Polaroid’s technology was eclipsed by digital photography but don’t disparage the accomplishment which was amazing for its time.

Polaroid was cool to watch work one time but it wasn’t complicated enough to satisfy my craving for buttons and dials. My Sigma 35-70 lens has dials and numbers you can see clear across the room, I may take a pic of it and frame it! The prime lenses are dull looking and not at all sexy!

“I’ve always liked cameras you can adjust anyway, I like to turn dials and push buttons.”

They used to make Polaroid adaptors (”backs”) for some of the high-end medium-format cameras. I guess the pros needed to see if their shots were set up right.

Some pros still like the Polaroids.
