Democratic Congresswoman Continues to Deny Involvement With Palin-as-Hitler Protest

Democratic Congresswoman Debbie Halvorson just can’t get her story straight.

When news of her campaign’s connections with a rally that featured posters depicting Sarah Palin, Glenn Beck and Halvorson’s GOP challenger Adam Kinzinger with Adolph Hitler moustaches surfaced on Thurs. Sept. 16th, her campaign went into immediate denial mode.

Campaign spokesman Anthony DeAngelo told the Southland Star that the Halvorson campaign did not stage any protest outside an Americans For Prosperity event in Joliet, IL on the night in question. ”Obviously, the congresswoman would never condone anyone comparing Kinzinger or any candidate to Hitler” DeAngelo said. Perhaps, but does that go for the congresswoman’s campaign workers? More on that later.

This is why to me Democrats no longer exist. They are truly un-American. To call fellow Americans Nazis or Hitler or paint Hitler mustaches on them is beyond political. They are beyond belief.

True, Palin isn't a candidate, but could they twist the truth any more than this?

I agree that their views are delusion. I wonder how they perceive the effect the signs are having on the populace. Harold and Maude drive by and slow down to read the protester’s signs. They see Sarah Palin with a Hitler mustache - and they think....? What? Will people suddenly fear that Palin is a closet Nazi? Will conflating the name Tea Party with Nazi to get ‘Naz-Tea’ really convince a normal person that the Tea Party stands for Nazism?
What really seems to be on display here is a leftist hissy fit. “I hate you for voting for Palin so much I am gonna accuse you of supporting Nazism if you do!” Leftists always try to make it about good (them) and evil (us) and then decry the ‘moralizing’ of the ‘religious right’.

it is a hissy fit of sort.

the danger spawned by their propaganda can provoke the unleashing of forces within this republic that will make the nazis look like howdydoody.

we are not in 1920’s europe. if the lid comes off here, now, it will not be any specific group persecuted. it will be all agaqinst all.

in a sense, they are doing a service by desensitizing the population. if anyone can be a hitler, then no one can stand out.

palin.... please... americas hitler is presently grinding out 23 a day in supermax...for ever, plus life... awaiting a squishy leftist gubernatorial pardon.

remember where you heard that first.

This is the classic Alinsky technique of accusing your object of attack for that which you do. The term for it is projection. The Left is not for freedom, it is for the same tyrannical fascism that emerged from the Great Depression in post World War I Germany around January, 1919.

This is never going to stop until we outdo them. They want name calling. Fine, those who support abortion are henceforth “child molesters” and “baby killers”. Those who want big government to control us are henceforth “Communist”s and “traitors”. Professional politicians are henceforth “rich parasites” and “corrupt”.

Repeat loud and often.
