I think the caption explained it - it’s shot through the viewfinder of a video camera.

Stupid Yahoo! I was expecting the caption UNDER the picture, as opposed to the SIDE after the TWITter, FACEBOOK, etc links. I typically don't look at the sidebars as they are usually ads.

Reminds me of They Live! I remember a Jimmy Kimmel ManShow skit in the late 90`s where he found some x-ray glasses and at the end of the skit he put them on to look at Hillary and sure enough she looked like an alien from They Live! Someone needs to find that skit and screen shot it.
I think the Obama team may be behind this photo leak....

I’m always just surprised that you can take a picture of her at all or that she casts a reflection.

It's clearly not a negative (double negative excepted!).
The image is either processed for "night vision" or somehow solarized (which gives part of a positive and a negative image)
