It is noted that the SEC dominates the rankings with 3 teams in the top 10.

“Computers love UF as they are ranked 7 in the human polls. THE Ohio State University’s recent cup cake non-conference games have hurt their computer ranking.”

OSU always manages to show their true ranking when they play UF ...

There is a restaurant in Alex City which he went to when he was a student.and it had great food. Do you know which one I am talking about? Maybe we could meet there. It is about a mile from the main highway through Alex City. I think I got the catfish.

No, I have no idea. You know that restaurant on 280 which overlooked the lake has closed. That’s the only one I’m familiar with (except I never ate there). But, if y’all want, you could come to my home in Auburn and we would treat you.

Yeah, we were going to go there but it was closed. When I talk to him, I will ask him what the name of the restaurant is. Have to talk to him first. It is my car but he does the driving! Will let you know. When we went down 2 weeks ago, he rode the bus from McDonald’s down from the hotel to the game. It was a lot easier on him. I did not plan to go anywhere so he drove the car there and left it like others did.

They were there to see Auburn.

If y’all were at the Hilton Garden Inn by Provino’s, that is about a mile away from my house.

Yeah, he went to one game last year and it was close to 1 when I went down to MD’s to pick him up. It is only going to get worse. I hate traffic of any size. My daughter and her hubby went to Atlanta a few weeks ago. The traffic was terrible so she got out her Ipad, looked at the traffic to see just how bad it was, got off the interstate, went to a close by restaurant and stayed there. They kept checking the traffic on the ipad and when they saw it was getting better, they went and got back on the interstate. Isn't electronics marvelous?

It is a beautiful campus. And actually Auburn has a fairly conservative faculty, which is more than can be said for Alabama.

But I grew up in Tuscaloosa, and have three degrees from Alabama.

Roll Tide!

I went to Mississippi State and really did not care for either team. But, after moving here, the Bama fans drove me nuts. Now, I am dating a guy who played for Auburn on The Amazins which started the punt, bama, punt yell. When we started dating, I told him that at least, he had not played for Bama! State has a beautiful campus, too. Many of their buildings are on the historical registry. State had the largest dorm in the country until it burned about 1959 which was before I went there. 1500 students lived in it including Jerry Clower. That area is the drill field now or was when I was there back in the good ole days. State's sports’ announcer, Jack Cristil is the best in the business. I learned football by listening to him when I was about 9 years old. Ah, what great memories of those days.
