SNIPPET: "His movies have grossed more than $2 billion worldwide. He is an expert martial artist with a 7th-degree black belt in Aikido. He's considered to be in the same class of action hero as Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, Steven Seagal isn't just an action hero in the movies. For almost 20 years, Seagal has been working as a fully commissioned deputy with the Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office in Louisiana. In addition to going out on patrol, Seagal is an expert marksman who has worked with their SWAT team and has instructed Jefferson Parish officers in firearms and hand-to-hand combat.

Steven Seagal Lawman will allow fans to ride shotgun with Seagal as he and his hand-selected elite team of deputies respond to crimes in progress."

Out for Justice synopsis:

In his first real encounter with the criminal scum he bludgeons onw man with salami, makes a man stab himself in the thigh with a butcher knife, and beats up another man, then takes the knife from first man's thigh and pins second guys hand to the wall.

During the greatest bar room fight I have ever seen in a movie, Gino rolls a cue ball into a small towel and proceeds to beat anyone who challenges him. A man named Tattoo gets all his front teeth knocked out but still has the courage to come back for more. And by the way, the bad guys in this movie really know how to rock wind suits. Gino also has a sweet fight with a man named "sticks."

In one of the bloodiest final showdowns ever, Gino manages to take on the rest of the thugs armed with only his pistol and shotgun. He blows one mans lower leg off, and also puts an end to the man named Tattoo. Seagal finally stabs his boyhood adversary and criminal scum, Richie, in the forehead with a corkscrew. Only after manhandling the wannabe mobster and wrecking a poor womans apartment.

The movie had some good one-liners, the best being, "Tell your brother I'm gonna cut of his head and p--s down his throat!" This line was whispered in Seagal's best Brooklyn accent. This movie was full of action as well as blood. This was one of my favorite Seagal films that I've seen so far, I highly suggest renting this movie.

The scene with the cue ball in towel is great. (The victim is shown in the next scene smoking a cig after spitting his teeth ... LOL)

What Seagal has done is well documented, but perhaps not well known. He married a Japanese woman, Myako Fujitani, in 1975. It was the connection to Myako's father that enabled Seagal to be the first westerner to run a dojo in Japan. Between 1986 and 1987, having moved to the United States, Seagal divorced Myako, married Adrienne La Russa, impregnated Kelly LeBrock, divorced La Russa, married LeBrock, and became a famous action movie star who would go on to gross more money in the next seven years than almost anyone else in Hollywood, second only to Arnold Swarzenegger. Somewhere around 1995, though, things got weird in the Seagal household. His youngest child with LeBrock was named Arissa after the family nanny. Seagal then began a relationship with the nanny, impregnated her, and divorced LeBrock. He hasn't married the elder Arissa, but he now has seven children and three ex-wives. And, he has gone from producing and directing his own cheesy, imminently flawed, but entertaining and in some strange way "pure" films, to playing supporting or co-starring roles in gaggers like Ticker (2001). Once again, I'm confused. How can a man who meditates daily, studies the Buddha, and serves as a spokesperson for such thoughtful causes as PETA lose ground both as a moral being and an artist?

----------------------------------------------------------

Jenny McCarthy revealed in an interview with Moveline magazine back in 1998 that she was harassed by Steven Seagal during a casting call for Under Siege 2. Jenny said: "I go inside Seagal's office, and he's by himself and says, 'Sit on my couch. Then he said, 'Take off your dress.' I just started crying and said, 'Rent my Playboy video, you asshole!' and ran out to the car." It's also been reported that NINE other women told Penthouse magazine about Seagal sexually harassing them back in 1998. McCarthy, an actress and autism activist, said in an interview with Movieline magazine in 1998, that Seagal asked her to strip during a casting call for "Under Siege 2," then threatened her not to tell anyone.

In the Movieline account, McCarthy went on to say, "I go inside his (Seagal's) office, which has shag carpet and this huge couch, and he's by himself and says, 'Sit on my couch.'" She continued, "[He says] 'So, you were Playmate of the Year?'"

"Then he said: 'take off your dress,'" McCarthy continued. "I just started crying and said: 'Rent my Playboy video, you a*****e!' and ran out to the car."

Also in 1998, nine women came forward in a Penthouse magazine feature to tell their tales of harassment at the hands of the action film star.

-------------------------------------------------------------

Stories about Seagal's poor treatment of women have been common in Hollywood for years. Jenny McCarthy once spoke of how he demanded she strip nude during an audition, proving he clearly didn't notice she began her career as a Playboy Playmate of the Year. There are reports he beat his third ex-wife, actress Kelly LeBrock, before dumping her for her children's nanny. As for Nguyen, her lawyers responded that there is no way a confidentiality agreement could bar Seagal from being sued in court for sexual trafficking and assault, so they are moving forward. They also reported that six other women have contacted them since the case first came to light in the press to report similar treatment.

All these years of raping and assaulting and how many arrests or convictions? Zero and Zero. Like you said, that guy made alot of money. Seems to me these ladies enjoyed the ride and than tried black mailing him with false charges just like that Nguyen women recently did. She got the cash and wasn’t intrested in pursuing criminal charges.

Where there's smoke...

Besides there's nothing on McCarthy suing or making money. And people have known for a long time about beating LeBrock.

He's a dirt bag.

Oh...And an ab-so-lu-tley AWFUL actor

Oh, I'm sorry to be a man. I guess that disqualifies me from calling a piece of shiite a piece of shiite.

And of course him beating his wife and harassing women is ok, as long as you can have your little hero worship. Sorta like the Bill Clinton crowd.

I was impressed until I got a Dobie of my own.

Good choice, Dobies are great! Smart, friendly, playful, affectionate, disciplined (with minimum of proper training), very loyal, not demanding, attached to people, excellent family and therapy dogs.

Yeah, I heard about his abusing Kelly Lebrock. WTF?

I stopped being a fan of his when he started making those goofy environmental/action movies and preaching about how we’re destroying the Earth.
