“Glazed donut bacon burger. “

Oh now that does look good!

When I want a take out burger I’ll go to Steak and Shake or Logan’s Roadhouse.

We are blessed to have a Papa Murphy's Take and Bake near our home. Pick it up, bake it and eat it steaming hot.

In the same area is the 60 year old Fresh Freeze drive up for good hamburgers...

But the best Chili Cheese Burger with garlic fries is Mike's Drive Up on Broadway in Eureka and I don't have a photo. It was founded in 1946...

I do like Papa Murphy's and used to habitually overeat on that monstrous stuffed pizza, sometimes the calzone (though like pizza places, there used to be an independent restaurant in Eugene called Tinos that made much better ‘til they changed hands).

I have not tried the Papa Murphy's in our new town yet (mainly because the oven in our temporary apartment is a piece of crap), and far as I know there are no independent Italian restaurants or pizzerias in Hobbs.

CedarDave what do you know about that?

I was just recently informed by someone who worked at McDonald’s that the little onions they put on the burgers actually arrive there hard and dry, and they have to soak them in water!

Great idea! When TSHTF, we know where to get all the dehydrated food we need. I bet they have dehydrated ketchup too!

;-)
