I'm sorry Elizabeth Edwards has cancer. I'm sorry she's dying. I'm sorry her husband was and is such a POS. But Mrs Edwards was partisan to the point of being obnoxious. When her husband was running for office it was always the GOP that didn't love, wasn't merciful, didn't care, hated. It never even occurred to her that her husband was the one with those vices. It never occurred to her that those vices were her own.

As with most liberals, I suspect it was projection. Let's hope she's used this time to reflect upon the person she used to be, make peace with God, and sincerely change her ways.
