I would first of like to thank all of those who made a donation, that's what it is all about!
Secondly to those who got your panties in a bunch; This bunny does what he wants to do when and how he wants to do it, it is who I am I make zero apologies, I believe I helped others become motivated to donate to a site I would dearly miss if it were gone.
I don't think a lot of you truly understand how important this site has become; The stories we have broke, the frauds we have exposed, the difference this site has made for just the good old Constitution is incalculable.
I had people write me that they use to donate but their kind was banished from the site, for this reason or that. My personal experience on this site foremost is I get to read articles about everything under the sun, that I would never have found on my own. That is why I love this site. People post very interesting articles that match my interests.
All the other crap about men in black suits, stupid comments, plain idiotic views I just ignore. I have been here from the earliest of days, I was slammed so hard on my misspellings and syntax when I posted for the first time; I canceled my account and did not resurface as the bunny for months.
People who visit this site probably don't know the historic past we have had, our influence on impeachment of Clinton, alamo-girl.com memorializing our research, busting Dan making up crap against Bush, the list is so long.
To those of you who wrote me and said don't raise money for Freerepublic now, you will siphon money from those who are running, don't get it! We have done more to perpetrate Conservatism than any other site. Donate here, this site has the best results collectively, it is is also run on a shoestring!
If Jim decided to sell or go IPO, or just have the same banner Drudge has on his site, he would make millions of dollars every year. This man is the opposite of greedy his actions have proven that!
My rant is over, best wishes to all my fellow Freepers, if you have a beef with me, oh well! I am cool with my actions, my timing and my tactics.

And we are show prep for many. I have personally and verbatim been quoted by Rush Limbaugh SEVERAL times and I have met others here who have also been. The last time, I was in the shower (LOL), a few weeks ago, when I was listening to El Rushbo, and he said if Obama’s “moving to the right” like some talking head had said, then it’s to the right from Lenin toward Trotsky,” (paraphrased) and I had just said those exact words (whatever they were) late the night before on FR. I was yelling “You’re Welcome, Rush!” in my shower.
We are read by some very important conservatives. Sarah Palin gave JimRob a big kiss the other day, thanking him for all he does. She knows which side of the internet has the butter.
Be part of history; donate and be proud of this place. We take care of ourselves and our own.

And to all those who are not donating because of past offenses or past perceived offenses, if you’re honest with yourself, generally speaking, JimRob has usually been right, especially for the good of the site and its reputation.
He could literally be a multi-millionaire tomorrow if he so desired, that is how valuable in terms of dollars this site is. Actions speak louder than words folks, and JimRob’s actions show that he’s in it for more than mere money, although there’s nothing wrong with money, and it’s needed to keep this site alive and FREE to all.
Thank you very much, big bad easter bunny, not for just the very successful and most welcome MONEY BOMB, but also for everything you just wrote.
I know that everyone has gripes of one sort or another and that everyone or almost everyone holds old or new grudges or thinks they have old or new enemies and that sort of crap that may keep them from supporting the very forum they frequent, and I have to ask, how does *that* make any sense at all?
Free Republic is a huge, wonderful forum, which offers a variety of interests for all. From Amy’s Place, to the Canteen, to the Religious Forum, to Breaking News, Front Page News, Bloggers, Editorials, FReeper Chapters and Activism and the List goes on.
We could literally end FReepathons were everyone sign-up to be a Monthly Donor for a little as $10 a Month, and maybe even $5 a Month (not sure about that, given Obama’s-Marxist economy).
Our FReepathon is not quite at the 50% mark and we’re already at October 23, 2010. I urge everyone who hasn’t yet donated, to please donate tonight, and ideally sign-up to be a Monthly Donor or donate, as soon as you possibly can.

KOOL, If it were not for FR most of us would be going crazy fighting the libtards by ourselves. dan rather would have pulled off his scam against GW too. We her at FR perform a great public educational service.
I would like to see FR upgraded so we get no more crashes during high volume events, so it is well worth the money we donate....FR is a good place to donate that $250 bribe for seniors, if the senior can afford to do so.

Bunny I absolutely agree with everything you wrote. I thought the money bomb was a great idea to help get people to donate!
I tried ‘adopting’ other FReepers and a few other things in the last 2 FReepathons and was contacted by Red this time to help him get the message out that he’d adopt a few FReepers. It took quite some doing to even get 10 people to agree to be adopted! How crazy is that? I understand the economy is bad and a lot of good people are hurting so new ideas are key and your money bomb was awesome.
To those that put you down or had negative things to say about your idea, they should think what would happen if they wanted to log on one morning and Free Republic just wasn’t here. What would all these people do if they got the dreaded 404 message??
To all those negative nellies ~ you do not need to agree with everything here or even the way the site is run, but I’ll bet you still utilize this site. So dig deep, sacrifice 2 cigarettes a day, 1 beer a day, whatever you can and donate the savings! I am a dollar a day member and once I did it, I just never even think about it. Try it, you’ll like it!
