U of M Student Body President drops request for personal protection order

The high-profile case the Action News Investigators broke has taken a new twist.

Chris Armstrong, the student assembly president at the University of Michigan, dropped his request today for a personal protection order against Andrew Shirvell, who works as an assistant prosecutor in the Michigan Attorney General's office.

Court documents say the request is being withdrawn because Armstrong has not been contacted by Shirvell since the request for the PPO was originally made.

Armstrong created a blog blasting Armstrong for allegedly promoting a radical homosexual agenda on campus. Armstrong called police when Shirvell showed up outside his Ann Arbor home in early September.

The attorney representing Shirvell says his client was only saying the rosary and holding up a sign, and he was simply exercising his constitutional rights.

"This is not the stuff PPO's are made of," says Philip Thomas, who is representing Shirvell. "And I do a lot of PPO work...PPO's are designed for stalking."

In the police report obtained by Action News, investigators write that Armstrong "...has not been threatened by this person, not has this person attempted to enter onto their property. He is just merely feeling somewhat harassed by this person due to the protesting."

Neither Armstrong nor his attorney Ashwin Patel returned calls for comment today.

Shirvell is still fighting the school because the university banned him from campus. He is also facing a disciplinary hearing to save his job.

As an assistant prosecutor for the state of Michigan, Shirvell has become an embarrassment to the state office.

He needs to be fired and sent into the private sector where he can pursue whatever agenda he chooses.........

Shirvell is a U of M alum.

Armstrong is gay-agenda-extremist student body president of U of M.

Shirvell is protesting Armstrong’s attempt to futher destroy the culture at U of M.

Armstrong squealed like a pink gay sissy pig because Shirvell drew attention to Armstrong’s nefarious methods and acts. As usual, the gay cried “hate” and the media obliged the gay and painted Shirvell as hateful.

An adult in his position does not go after a student unless it is some sort of love, hate relationship. There is something psychologically disturbing here.

Nothing disturbing.
Shirvell is engaged in the culture war.
He also did the same thing to protest baby-killing.

Shirvell doesn’t lose his First Amendment rights because of his job. The pervert deserves to have the light shined on him. Like the cockroach that he is, Armstrong is running for the darkness.

A man in his position should not let religious intolerance drive his actions.

He will be fired for stupidity and certainly for immaturity.

Thwarting the extremist gay agenda is not religious intolerance.

And if you think it is, you are no conservative.
