Do you think Bill Cowher would take the job?

Jones would have to pay him BIG TIME money though.

Jerry would have to leave him alone and not micromanage the "jocks and socks" side as is his wont.

Looks like the ‘Boys will be setting themselves up for a top first round draft pick.

Time to clean house. Phillips and Romo both. And getting Jones to step back and let a more football savvy person run things would help.

I am a cowboys fan so I will rant now:

The cowboys are good but the NFL is awful.

Did the giants do any excessive celebrating on their touchdowns?

Dallas is one of the most penalized teams in the NFL especially the Rex zone.

How many times has flozell Adams been called for holding now that he plays for the 5-1 steelers?

Penalties play a huge role in the pro wrestling of sports the NFL.

The cowboys are as good as the Detroit lions?

No the NFL decides these games.

Rant complete.

The only reason the Cowboys were halfway decent the last few seasons was because of the ground work Parcells did while he was here.

We both know that will never happen. And I think Cowher is looking for a job closer to home.

Like I said, I would love to see Jim Harbaugh come here. He’s no nonsense, which is exactly what the team needs.

Firing Jimmy Johnson was all about ego...and the result is painfully obvious.

That being said, might as well fire all of the prima donna players and bring in league-minimum salaried kamakazis if you are going to lose anyway.

I actually feel sorry Dallas fans have to be stuck with Wade

Since when do Skins fans care about Cowboy fans. I’m a Giant fan from Jersey. I can actually root for the Eagles and the Skins if the Giants are not in the playoffs, but I dispise the Cowboys.

Heard his name a couple of times Sunday. He hurt his ankle in the game against Miami, so he didn't get much time on the field.

Heck, even Barry Switzer would be an improvement.

It’s going to take a 1-15 season for Jerry to get it through his thick skull that he sucks as a GM.

He’s a great owner, it’s the GM part that stinks.

Years ago, Jerry was having a meal/interview with SI's Peter King. During their talks, King noticed that Jerry was scribbling diagrams on his napkin.

King finally inquired as to what Jones happened to be doing. He found out that Jerry was trying to diagram new blocking schemes for the Cowboys' offensive line.

You know, now that the season is over, Jerry might as well become the head coach for the rest of the season, at least, there would never be a dull moment.

That’s how bad things have gotten. the Cowboys have a talented team but the worse coach in the NFL - even, I, a skins fan feels sorry for them ...

G-men toyed with them. Gutsy, gutsy performane by the G-Men. Down 20-7 with the Cowgirls season on the line in their building and Eli methodically tore them apart while the defense smothered them. They were sloppy in the end, but Big Blue was clearly the better team.

I agree with you. The NFLPA head is DeMaurice Smith, a big Obama buddy and ally. With the NFL headed for a lockdown in 2011, the last thing the Commissioner wants to do is antagonize Smith. He also knows that Obama loathes Texas, George W. Bush, Freedom, and Strong Men who aren’t afraid of their own shadows. Thus, the new rules against hitting, the pink shoes, and the Phantom “Penalties” against America’s Team.
