Glenn Beck read a passage from Poe’s “The Telltale Heart” on the radio today and the way he was reading it scared me! He is right, much of Poe’s writing are meant to be read out loud.

I read The Raven myself at a recent Gothic event at mrs jimfree’s place of employment, the Riversdale Mansion, an historic property in the Maryland suburbs of DC.
We had the pleasure of hearing Delancie’s narration of the Peer Gint Suite at the Kennedy Center a couple years ago - absolutely masterful!
I’ve no doubt that Q kicks mine in reading the Raven. Will listen soon.

Just as a little father-daughter mental exercise, we memorized The Raven together. She was 9 at the time.

Excellent. Thank you much. We are big, big Q fans, as are our kids/now grown adults ; } I know they will enjoy this as well :)
May God strengthen us.
