I honestly don’t think the country can survive another democrat majority. {{{shudder}}}
For those of us who like reading Barone.
OK, just who is advising Michelle Obama on her fashions in India. Good grief, dress for your body type, Michelle. /rant
Is the Harley Davidson plant union? They asked too much, the union members stood mute while the union bosses told HD what they were going to give and to heck if it ruined any future improvement to the vehicle. Here goes another company to a foreign land and the poor American union schmuck is out of a joB, but the union bosses and their hentchmen are not.
What dazzling outfit is she wearing over there? I haven’t seen any pictures. Busy day shopping.
OH...for vets who shop at Lowes, there is a 10% discount for all items. Just show them your ID card or proof of being a vet. I just found that out today from a handsome, young, gorgeous, young man who saw my ID. Wives are also elegible. Well anyway, he saw my ID and told me about the percentage off. I asked him if he was a vet, he said “No, but as soon as he graduated he was joining”. Then he told me his older brother is in Afphaganistan right now. He’ll be graduating from Baylor in the spring.
Did you see that gray dress? It has no hem, is purposely unfinished and ragged on the bottom.
It would’ve been pretty otherwise, but as I stated on another thread, she has to act out her hostility in the way she dresses, hence the untailored look which may be some sort of current fad on Paris fashion runways.
I suppose that it will be the people who live in India as it is a cinch that my neighbors ain't going to buying Harleys made in Wisconsin or anywhere else. Certainly not from just outside Calcutta or Old Delhi.
The world is upside down, and the CEOs and other trade war profiteers may be able to hide in the zinc poisoned streams of deeply rural Montana, but they can't live there forever unless they are so intent on going totally “native.”
That ain't likely a good Plan B for them at all.
Call me crazy, but I think that a bunch of Corporate managerial types hiding all of their $$$ under mattresses are in for a big surprise when the batteries die out on their generators and the fishing ain't so good unless you like Mercury or eating venison saturated with heavy metal spices.
Midnight. And I’m up computer surfing, thought somebody else might be up too. Guess I’ll patter off back to bed, hopefully for sleep this time.
I think my BP is acting up again. It’s Obama’s fault.
Good morning. I was thrilled listening to Rush yesterday. He was talking about an article in Politico that had one sentence that was, in effect, questioning caligula’s mental state. Can we say, “Twenty-Fifth Amendment”?
Hi 2/3. I’m still on the old time.
;o/
Rush was on fire yesterday. Somebody in this administration or the Dem party is not happy with O. Leaking hints of an inability to govern properly to Politico is interesting.
The Big Bad O visiting your second home. Protesters there too.
Morning everyone. Milder week is a God Send for me. Lots of home issues still to complicate the already muddy waters.
Thanking God for the many blessings & know the bumps will result in good, but right now, a bit of a frustration.
Quote of the day:
Liberals are certainly capable of intelligence. They may be adept at their careers and hobbies. But the problem is that their naïveté and a delusional way of looking at the world impedes common sense and street smarts ... Further, when liberals take the time to tune in, they get their "information" from progressive propaganda. And they don't question the Left's authority. ... That's the biggest problem -- not questioning the party line even though there are obvious gaps and gaffes. A big reason for this is fear. Aside from intellectual laziness, the Fear Factor makes otherwise intelligent liberals stupidly fall into line. Liberals can scare easily. .. Unarmed with either weapons or the basic facts, they have no way to defend themselves.

Good morning! Jem, your sunrise isn’t showing-but then it’s not up here yet either :) Another beautiful Indian summer day on tap here.
Yikes! It showed in the preview and it showed in my browser ... until now. Now I’m only getting the red x, too.
Robin of Berkeley pens some true words
Good morning! Thanks for breakfast.
After a chilly weekend, thankfully it did not freeze, today should be warmer. The rest is supposed to be in the 70s and today the sky is clear.
Caligula finally made it back to Indonesia. Yuck. He kept trying to dodge it. This was the third or fourth time the trip had been scheduled. Even a few days ago he was saying he might not make it because a volcano is erupting several hundred miles to the east. What a crock!
