My grandson just woke me up loading the pumpgun, the sheriff's dept has road blocks up and bloodhounds working the area. I don't have a trunking scanner so we're just sitting here loaded for bear.

Their system is trunked, my old scanner is useless. The local radio station runs on auto all night, no updates.
This isn't a good area to mess around, there is a shotgun behind every door.

This is rough territory, hard to cross at night. Keeping up with dogs would be almost impossible in some areas. My back 3 acres is rough to get through in daylight.

They built a planned community near here and some of those people will dial 911 if a gator passes gas.
