These are heady times for schadenfreude buffs. People who take delight in the misfortunes of others, and particularly those who love to see the high and mighty taken down a peg or two, are having a field day. Barack Obama just got his head handed to him in the midterm elections. Nancy Pelosi has been knocked from her perch. The Democratic party has taken more hits than Humpty Dumpty. If you're the kind of person who likes to see the tall poppies cut down to size, this is your year.
This is not only true in the field of politics. In the wide world of sports, the fat cats are also taking a thumping. The Yankees, odds-on favorites to defend their world championship, got whipped good and proper in the prelims by the team that George W. Bush used to run. Yankee captain Derek Jeter had the worst year of his career, CC Sabathia got smacked all around the ballyard, and Alex Rodriguez stood and took a called third strike to end the season. For Yankees haters and schadenfreude enthusiasts, life couldn't get any better.

Shadenfreude, ‘’shame joy’’, only works when the object of the ‘’shame joy’’ has a sense of shame.. Barck Obama hasn’t got a sense of shame so he can’t be shamed. It’s kind of a wasted effort.
I don’t quite get “shame joy” from schadenfreude. I believe it means taking pleasure in the misfortunes of others.
It’s German. ‘Shame joy’’. It’s means taking pleasure or ‘’joy’’ (’’fun’’) in someone else’s misfortune. It forms the basis of almost all comedy
Here’s one thing the scriptures have to say on the matter -
17 ¶ Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth:
18 Lest the LORD see it, and it displease him, and he turn away his wrath from him.
19 ¶ Fret not thyself because of evil men, neither be thou envious at the wicked;
20 For there shall be no reward to the evil man; the candle of the wicked shall be put out.
Obama’s ego is so big, when his sense of accomplishment starts leaking out of his racist brain it will result in a nervous breakdown.
Obama is a sociopath in my opinion. When people like this don’t get their way, they become dangerous. That worries me.
I believe there are enough watchdogs around Washington to force his butt out if he loses it. A vacation every three weeks isn’t a good sign though.
Obama is where he is and is going to stay there because he’s ‘’black’’. This is the only reason why he is tolerated. The press gives him a pass because of his skin color. For 45 years this is how it’s been in America. We have the first Affirmative Action president and we’re stuck with him. Try removing him from office and the LA riots of 1992 will look like a walk in the park.
