I think everyone is having some problems with it this morning. It happens once in a blue moon.

Having the same issue this morning. Weird. That does pop up, but the mail seems to be going through okay.

You've probably got a virus of some sort. I worked 2 days trying to get one that was causing search engines from working on my computer. I would run spybot and malwarebytes to see if you have a virus. The problem with my virus was that spybot or malwarebytes could find them but not erase them. It took some work but finally got it done. I finally had to delete a hosts file. In fact, look at c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/ If your hosts has any extention but "file" then it is probably the problem, mine ended in ".o1d". But do your own checking first.

Hopes this helps.

Yahoo is doing the slow march to insolvency. There was an article Friday about how Yahoo is doing layoffs, again, after promising the last layoff would be all there ever was. So, management appears to be in error, or liars, either way, not exactly inspiring. There is a talent drain going on at Yahoo, on top of being short staffed.

Gmail or hotmail may be better options going forward.

BTW, I’ve been getting errors, and I don’t have a virus.

I just sent an email but had to verify the security code word. First time that has ever happened. Plus, I have been getting emails saying my address has to be verified or my account will be deleted. I just delete those.

My contacts’ address list has stopped coming up automatically in the Yahoo email address box. I expect when I reboot the problem may go away. Lots of problems can be remedied that way.

I just tried that and got this message....

Firefox doesn’t know how to open this address, because the protocol (c) isn’t associated with any program

I just tried to access my email acct and got a message from yahoo.com that the mail system is under extensive scheduled maintenance right now and that “you might have trouble accessing your mailbox”....said they’re working to get it back up as quickly as possible.

Like some of you who have had trouble with Yahoo, my contact list was gone this morning on att.net. I called att support and they indicated Yahoo had problems in system maintenance and would things would be corrected in 24 hours. Hope this helps.

Now that you mention it, I haven’t had any Yahoo mail since 5:27 AM and I am usually inundated with mail by this time of day.
