When I was a teen, the district built a new high school out in the country, and there were scorpions, I guess from the excavations. Anyhow, I took one home and put it in a glass bottle. My stepmother assassinated it though. Neat creatures.

Joe’s stash is bigger than Obama’s that the detroiters wanted. Tried to styme him with Just a Gigolo by Louis Prima and he had it..we should offer 10 bucks to the first one he cannot come up with a picture for..

Yes.

(Used to live in Phoenix for a number of years. We found out, by the way, that cats are immune to scorpion venom: we watched our cat get stung in the face by a scorpion with NO ill effects...for the cat. There were scorpion pieces by the cat's food dish the next morning.)

Cheers!

You know that the wetbacks walk/ride through the Senoran desert every day. That is where these freeloaders come from.
Can we still use the word “wetback” or is that out of style now?

Well, it would be more impressive if you used the term correctly.

But since you're really only looking for a way to impress us by how angry you are ... you just go right ahead and use your little insult.

More likely, the scorpion came from just about any part of Texas. Hitched a ride from one of us visiting Colorado.

Please tell me how to use a racial slur correctly, so I can get it right next time. Please, do tell.

“Wetback” is a term for Mexicans who immigrate illegally to the United States.[1] It is generally used as an ethnic slur, and is sometimes applied to Mexican-Americans or others of Latin American decent. Wiki.

How could I have used it incorrectly?
Wetback is a wetback. Please tell me what I did wrong.
Punctuation, spelling, grammar, syntax, what?
It is killing me! I wanted so much to impress you.
Damn, a gringo missed his chance. Maybe some day we get
to drum them (wetbacks) out of our country. Maybe even float them back.

Well, son, "wetback" refers to somebody who crossed a river to get here. Rivers are somewhat scarce in the Sonoran Desert -- an illegal who crossed same would not be a "wetback."

Be that as it may, your silly little epithet was more an expression of your angst than a useful description. It marks you as angry, rather than rational.

And your ridiculous little rants to me do nothing to improve my already low opinion of your ideas.

Well, son, wetback as an epithet is all inclusive, it is not literal. Boy, you must be a little touchy about the subject. What up with you? Why so stody? Why come on this forum if you don’t like what is written. There is plenty of space over at Huffpost I’ve heard. Uptight and bitter is no way to go through life son.
P.S. Funny name, in a wierd sort of way.

I thought the ones that came by land were scratchbacks....from crawling under the fence. Then again... what fence? Just sayin.

Well, idiots bug me. Loudmouthed idiots need to be reminded of their sins.

Your latest little rant just shows that you're stupid, too.

Now, now, 2ndr8, has it come to this? Name calling?
Okay, here we go.
I know you, are what am I?

Well, I know I’m not a wetback are you?
Go away now and let the big people talk, thanks sonny.
