Any mention of Whitefish Bay bring up a certain Gordon Lightfoot song to my mind (”The searchers all say they’d have made Whitefish Bay if they put 15 more miles behind her”)

Damm!t you just gave me that song as an earworm. That song is the bane of a singer-songwriter’s existence.

Well, that and “Margaritaville”.

Yeah, earworms...not too long ago it was said to be the anniversary of George Harrison’s death and I played the video of “This Song” on YouTube and that got stuck in my head for awhile!

Actually some nice slide gtr on “Edmund Fitzgerald”...LONG song. I think it peaked at #2.

Roy Firestone used to do a bit, IIRC, in which he sang
“Oh say can you see by the dawn’s early light” to the tune of
“The legend lives on from the Chippewa on down...” etc.!
