WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (AP) – A Wisconsin postal carrier says he simply wanted to cheer up a woman on his mail rounds who seemed “stressed out.” But, upon further review, the postal worker says delivering the mail in the nude probably wasn’t such a good idea.
A police report says the 52-year-old man told the woman he would deliver the mail to her office in Whitefish Bay completely naked to make her laugh. He says the woman dared him to do it, so he took the dare Dec. 4 and brought the mail wearing only a smile.

Any mention of Whitefish Bay bring up a certain Gordon Lightfoot song to my mind (”The searchers all say they’d have made Whitefish Bay if they put 15 more miles behind her”)

Yeah, earworms...not too long ago it was said to be the anniversary of George Harrison’s death and I played the video of “This Song” on YouTube and that got stuck in my head for awhile!

I would pay twice as much for postage stamps if a letter carrier arrived at my door naked....with two stipulations....(1) the letter carrier would have to be female, and (2) the letter carrier must be the spitting image of Marilyn Monroe!

Well, I went to the original source, and I find that there is so much left out of the story. 3 paragraphs is all this guy gets?
I want to know who called to report him. If the woman actually said I dare you, she was approving of his plan. Regardless of how shocking it might have been to her, she gave tacit approval. My bet is that she reported him, and now will sue the USPS for millions of dollars for pain and suffering. He may well lose his job, and she will probably get some cash.
I’m sure some women would welcome such a gesture, but they are few and far between, and I hope they wouldn’t dare the guy. It sure seems like a com-on to dare him. He probably though he would et some sex out of it. Poor schmuck should learn how to read people better.
