Can you imagine remembering every single day of your life?

That's what actress Marilu Henner says she can do.

On "The Early Show" Monday, Henner -- one of only six people recognized in the world as having a rare gift called superior autobiographical memory -- explained what life is like remembering every day of her life. Henner and others with the same ability were profiled Sunday on "60 Minutes."

“No it was fourteen seconds after eight a.m. and I recall a green Ford with a black poodle in the back seat passed us in front of the White Castle on Four-hundred-ninety-second street and....”

My wife scares me sometimes when we're traveling. We'll go through some podunk town that we went through YEARS ago, and to me it was like the first time I've ever been there - and she'll say "Oh look, those people have repainted their house blue" - or, "They've moved the mailbox to the other side of the driveway." Maybe she's yanking my chain but she's been right before.

“Can you imagine remembering every single day of your life?”

Yes, I can imagine it - and it would surely be hell on Earth.

Both are probably similar definitions - perhaps according to depth of memory ... I believe the term photographic is a older term that is not near as well descriptive as autobiographic...

I prefer the term visual cataloging memory or some derivation there of...

I believe there are people with a snap shot type of photographic memory - who may over a grocery check out counter glance at your checkbook as you are writing a check and instantly memorize everything on the check... I can’t do that unless I concentrate on it intensely ... and big holes are likely to occur even if I tried... But there are some (I believe) who can do it without much effort....

It is good but bad. Like one of the people said last night, you remember every awful thing that happened to you like it was yesterday. And I do. The pain of illnesses and deaths of relatives and friends, being cheated on or lied to- it never fades. But, on the flip side, the wonderful moments and times in my life stay brand new as well.

That reminds me of a Bible verse:

I, even I, am he who blots out your transgressions, for my own sake, and remembers your sins no more.
Also, have you ever heard of the akashic records?

I think the term watersports is only used to describe um peeing uh during..., not doing it in the shower. Maybe I’m wrong.

Anyway, I caught that piece Sunday night. She still looks doable. To think her character on Taxi hooked up with Wallace Shawn. AKA the world’s tallest Hobbit.

Personally I’d like to have a super-memory. I think.

If it’s wet and hot; it’s all good.
