Mark Twain when he went to Lourds: “I see lots of crutches but no glass eyes or peg legs thrown over to the side, you’d think in a place where the miraculous happens the miracles wouldn’t be so circumspect.”
If Twain, and all of us, would venture to have FAITH that God COULD restore lost eyes and limbs, or at least TRY to have faith in a faithful God to do stuff for us, MAYBE, then we’d see more miracles than we’d ever dared to dream of. (He created these eyes and limbs after all in the first place.) I think we may not be seeing more of these type things because we do not have faith like we should.
There is at least one documented instance of an amputated limb being restored. It happened a few hundred years ago, but the event seems to have been real enough. You can Google it.
