She was paralysed from the waist down when a drink driver ploughed into her car on Christmas Day in 1987.
Then this year, during a visit to a British spiritual healer, Delia Knox suddenly stood up and walked.
And the 46-year-old has been walking ever since.

Mrs Knox, whose miracle moment was filmed and has become a favourite YouTube clip, said: This has turned my world upside down. I can stand in my kitchen and walk around my house. Im like a little kid out of a baby carriage seeing things that were once so huge now seem so small.
I am in awe at seeing the power of God not just in my life but all over the world as a result of this miracle.
The accident which confined her to a wheelchair for 23 years happened when she was on her way home after a church service in Toronto, Canada, with her sister and brother-in-law.
She was a passenger in the car which was hit by a drink driver and bore the brunt of the impact. Her sister and brother-in-law and their two children escaped with minor injuries.
Mrs Knox lost all feeling in her legs and had almost given up hope of walking again. When she agreed to attend a meeting with preacher Nathan Morris earlier this year, she had no idea healings were happening.

Wow! ....And John F’in’ Kerry didn’t even get elected president.
It must have been because the Healthcare law passed. The woman can start being in commercials with Andy Griffith.....
God works in mysterious ways, His wonders to perform......
It could be worse.
Mark Twain when he went to Lourds: “I see lots of crutches but no glass eyes or peg legs thrown over to the side, you’d think in a place where the miraculous happens the miracles wouldn’t be so circumspect.”
durned drink drivers anyhoo.
23 years in a wheelchair and she only "almost" gave up hope of walking again? Now there's an eternal optimist for you.
If Twain, and all of us, would venture to have FAITH that God COULD restore lost eyes and limbs, or at least TRY to have faith in a faithful God to do stuff for us, MAYBE, then we’d see more miracles than we’d ever dared to dream of. (He created these eyes and limbs after all in the first place.) I think we may not be seeing more of these type things because we do not have faith like we should.
In Africa where spiritual darkness has a much larger grip "miracles" are much more common in large evangelical events.
I personally know a African born evangelist who studied here in the states and married a friend of mine who has told me stories when they worked in Africa and verified by his wife of miracles like in the New Testament that have happened in Africa. The dead raised, the lame walk and more.
I have no reason not to believe them.
I have personally seen miracles myself that cannot be anything else than God who performed them.
The most compelling one was my own child was healed of a club foot in an instant by the same preacher. I actually saw her foot turn straight while we prayed
Unfortunately, there are many "Elmer Gantry's" fleecing and exploiting the beguiled flock in America that leaves real events open to ridicule
I watched this video very closely and either she is a very good actor or this is possibly real.
In many "fake" events the preacher is in control of the "miracle" and it follows a prescribed series of emotional appeals to make it feel real.
I, of course was not there, but I did not see any of the tale tell signs of fakery
I admit I could be bamboozled
There is at least one documented instance of an amputated limb being restored. It happened a few hundred years ago, but the event seems to have been real enough. You can Google it.
Cheryl Prewitt, Miss America 1981(?) was born with one leg shorter than the other. She went to a healing service one night and someone prayed for her and her leg grew several inches as they watched.
She went on to overcome many challenges and walk across the stage as Miss America.
“when a drink driver ploughed into her car on Christmas Day in 1987.”
A drink driver? That’s nothing. I can drive after 12.
I believe that if we need something, God will provide. I've been in plenty of scrapes where I should have lost life or limb. For His own reasons, God has kept me whole.
Had I become crippled or paralyzed, I've no doubt He would restore me for His purposes.
No altitude, bad for Vmc and the ground coming up to eat you alive....
Slam the throttle to the gate and close your eyes.
Open them to find yourself at 20K, in level flight and engine running smooth as butter. Finger of God is the only answer that works......
The adage about foxholes is more about experience, perhaps, than Faith.
