OK, fellow Freepers, next year is almost upon us. And, no doubt, it will be interesting. So here's your chance to show off your powers of prediction. Tell us what you think will happen next year..on any subject(s), as many as you wish... politics, sports, the economy, who will die next year, American Idol, Dancing with the Stars..anything and everything..as many as you want.
Obama will take more vacations than he did in his first two years combined.

With BO’s admin weakened by multiple investigations, I look for the Clintons to put a final fork in BO’s “fairytale.”
After the US House opens investigations into the Obama regime, and it starts looking worse and worse for him and the Democratic party, unknown Dem ‘elites’ will order a “hit” on the President. They’ll find some drug-addled lib willing to die for the cause. He will get close enough to the President to get off a fatal shot, and then scream as loud as he can “RUSH LIMBAUGH WAS RIGHT” (or somesuch phrase that squarely ties him to Conservative Talk Radio). He will then turn the gun on himself, taking his secrets with him.

Now, THAT is an interesting thought, and one I'd not contemplated.
Given the choice between Hillary, Huckabee, or Romney, I'd say that Hillary is the most conservative candidate.
Hopefully Pawlenty, Palin, and some other conservatives will step up to the plate.

Law student falls to his death Christmas Eve at Union League Club

An accomplished law student and former staffer for an Illinois congressional representative apparently accidentally fell while at the Union League Club early on Christmas Eve and later died.
Eric Fatla, 26, fell two stories Dec. 24 while at the club, 65 W. Jackson, and was pronounced dead at 1:02 p.m. Monday at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, the Cook County Medical Examiner’s office said.
Fatla’s Facebook page said he was an alum of Illinois Wesleyan University in Bloomington and American University in Washington, D.C. He was scheduled to complete graduate school at George Washington University in Washington in 2014.
Fatla took his father, Ed, to the Union League Club on Christmas Eve, according to a blog post by Jonathan Turley, a legal scholar and professor at George Washington University. Before leaving the club, Ed Fatla went to the restroom. When he exited he found his son had fallen and was at the bottom of the stairs with grave injuries.
Turley said its unclear how the first-year law student fell, but he said Fatla almost died of a brain hemorrhage in high school.
An autopsy on Fatla, whose family is from south suburban Frankfurt, is scheduled for Tuesday, the medical examiner’s office said.
Fatla worked with a lobbying and law firm while attending class in the evenings, the blog said. He had gone to China on a research project, traveled to Honduras as an election monitor and worked in Congress as a staffer.
Fatla’s Linkedin account said he was working as director of operations at New World Group LLC. He was also a congressional staffer for former U.S. Congressman Jerry Weller (R-Ill.).
