We all know about the National Enquirer article that came out in 08 you don’t need to clutter this thread with posts that it was first discovered in 2008 that BO had Gay Sex with Frank Marshall Davis. Most of us long time Freepers know that. Some don’t.

But, what you don't seem to understand is the point is NOT whether FReepers already know about Frank Marshall Davis. Many don't, and there's not a thing wrong with posting a 2-year-old article for that purpose. The point is that there have been several posters commenting on this thread about the suspicious timing of the NE publishing this article NOW...because the incorrect date on your original post is misleading people. Facts are pesky things. I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt that you didn't knowingly alter the date on this article with the intent to mislead, even though you're a noob and I don't know you. If you continue to be nasty about a reasonable request to correct significant misinformation on the original post, I may change my opinion.

Noting the original publication date on posts is not a trivial matter, its important to maintaining the integrity of the threads. If you would spend some time learning how things work around here, you wouldn't find yourself getting into so many pissing contests with folks who have much more credibility than you do.
