Abba is really popular with the homosexual crowd. I’m sure they’ll be happy to hear the news.
tell that to G Gordon Liddy - to his face, He’s probably the biggest ABBA fan out there.
Fabulous! /jk
Who doesn’t like abba?
Well then, I'm here to make fans of the hetero male crowd...
I wouldn’t trust The Guardian as far as I could throw their commie butts. The only UK paper I trust is The Telegraph.
Agnetha was a real babe in the mid 70’s.
Yes...however, only Anni-Frid is Norwegian, but they look good too.
Let me tell you something, I'm here with 32 Combat Marines in Afghanistan, and we listen to ABBA cause our Captain likes it. And you know what, EVERYONE of us do too. So if 32 Hard Core Marines think the world of it, you know it's good to go. Neither one of us haven't been home for Christmas in 6 years, and hopefully next year we'll make it back. So raise a toast to us on that special day, and think, we are still out here. Merry Christmas to all, and God Bless. Long Live ABBA!!!!!
During World War II, a German officer had an affair with young Norwegian Synni Lyngstad. Once the war ended, he returned to his home country, unaware of the fact that Synni was pregnant with his child. Anni-Frid Lyngstad (or Frida, as she later became known) was born on November 15th, 1945 in the small town of Narvik in Norway. To escape post-war retributions dished out to “collaborators” and their children her mother took her to Sweden, Torshälla. When she was only two, Anni-Frid’s mother died. Her grandmother (who had always encouraged her to sing) became responsible for raising her.
Frida’s father was actually a German soldier during Norway’s World War II occupation.
I like ABBA. Their music, along with the Beach Boys, is great driving music. And I’m not gay, just disgusted with most of the so-called music produced today.
From what I read tax laws may have also been a reason preventing a reunion. Sweden has a 90% tax on rich people on top of their normal taxes meaning the government would take most of any money they make.
I’m an ABBA fan.
At least a few of them spoke little English when they started and sang phonetically.
An amazing talented group. Two them pretty, a plus.
