O.K. ease on down range about 200. I need to make sure my scope is still on. BTW, just for kicks I clean my AR about every 500 rounds. Wipe it down with some CLP and it’s good to go. Takes about 10 minutes.
Now, if you’re Sniper trained, then you might consider carrying around a 12 pound rifle. And sandbags, and a gillie suit, and a drag bag. Oh, and a good friend to be your spotter. I prefer and AR. Mine’s 7 lbs with the irons and 30 rds.
You can also get AR uppers up to .50 cal. If the SHTF I’m carrying my AR.
