Agenda 21 Part II: Globalist Totalitarian Dictatorship Invading a Town near You–With Your Permission

Here is a list of the more than 600 U.S. cities, towns and counties currently participating in ICLEI’s Local Governments for Sustainability....ICLEI has succeeded in implementing the sustainability agenda through something called the Delphi Technique. All activists need to understand the Delphi Technique. Originally created by the Rand Corporation as a consensus building methodology for scientists, Delphi has morphed into a subversive tactic for imposing malevolent leftist agendas on an unsuspecting public who would never agree if they understood. A key feature of the Delphi Technique is to identify the “good guys,” i.e. those who go along with the predetermined agenda, and isolate the “bad guys,” thereby removing any obstructionists. It is a sophisticated application of Alinksy’s Rule #13: pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, polarize it. In order to motivate the “good guys,” ICLEI has created a rating system for counties based on how well they implement Agenda 21. King County, Washington has become the proud test bed for this new system. Listen to this bloviating county executive:

The list.

http://www.icleiusa.org/about-iclei/members/member-list

It should be pointed out that this is only one set of many similar programs. Our county seat isn’t on the list but is part of some kind of “Livable communities” program that seems intended to make life unbearable. They’re taking 4 lane streets and turning them into 2 lanes with a turn lane and a bike lane on either side.

A local reporter “staked out” one of these streets recently. Over a two day period he counted nearly 30,000 cars and 14 bicycles.

I’ve long said that Michigan’s economic problems are an intentional effort to drive as many of us out as possible. Water plays a huge part in the global marxist plans and there is no effective way to control Michigander use of it. That gave Michigan a great deal of power over the great lakes until Obama centralized it in Chicago. (Illinois incidentally has the smallest stake in great lakes issues)

Except for Belfast, the Maine towns listed are in the commie south of the state. However, there’s an effort called Gateway 1 that is going to do the same to the stretch between Brunswick and Belfast. Nice narrow rural Rt 1, rail (joke), concentrating the population with business in the town centers, yada yada yada. It’s all being done at the local level (sure) and the promoters insist that there are no UN connections. A quick review of the consultants’ resumes shows that they are deep into Agenda 21.

The liberal wackos in Seattle led the charge with the Washington state Growth Management Act and are now held up as a shining example by the UN:

"Most decisions related to land use are made at the local level, as in the case of Washington State, home to Seattle, one of the country's fastest growing metropolitan areas. In 1990, Washington passed the Growth Management Act, which is designed to provide incentives for well-planned growth. The legislation has led to broad-based citizen participation. Sustainable Seattle, a non-profit organization of citizens, initiated a process to evaluate the city's livability and environmental health via its project on indicators."

http://www.un.org/esa/agenda21/natlinfo/countr/usa/social.htm

The Growth Management Act was a one size fits all deception that has been crammed down the throat of the rest of the state. But we should all relax and and be happy:

All 600 cities, towns and counties participating in this eco-leftie crap should have active TEA party chapters. (Many already have them).

The purpose of the TEA Party chapters will be to expose this pending leftist tyranny, inform the people, and repeal Agenda 21.

If Heritage supports it, maybe The Rabbit Hole goes deeper than many think.

The first Local Agenda 21 was in Santa Cruz County, California.

There is nothing to repeal. Agenda 21 is "soft law," a "commons culture" among bureaucrats as to how things should be in order for them to be "sustainable." Of course, scientific proof of such is hardly necessary. All it takes is a well connected business whose owners have a tax-exempt foundation with which to lubricate the system.

The public schools use this technique on parents all the time. Teachers use it on students. As soon as the facilitator suggests breaking up into groups - to work on the "problem" - you know what's up. They're searching for the targets - the opposition "leaders" - to attack via peer pressure directed by them.

Watch for the "break into groups" trick. What you do in the group doesn't matter. The outcome of the meeting is already preordained. People are not given a choice in the end.

Fort Worth, TX is not on the list, which is surprising due to our size...

but then we only JUST voted gay benefits for “life-partners”, so we are rather backwards.
