Sean Hannity bumper music

Posted on 01/14/2011 11:24:55 PM PST by TJC

When listening to the Sean Hannity show online, during breaks there was an instrumental patriotic piece, sounds a little "Irish" with flute and drums. Would like to know name/artist.

Hope that helped.

I’m guessing it isn’t “Why Don’t We Do It In The Road.”

Is there a pattern as to when it’s used? First, second, third quarter?

I can be even less helpful.

I don’t listen to Hannity because I can’t stand bumper music that’s excerpted.

Sean is just a TunePimp.

Email the producer - or call during the show and ask the screener how you can find out. They might even put you on the air with the question... It won’t the first time someone has asked them, I’m sure. I emailed the same question to Dennis Prager in 2004. Not only did I find the bumper music, but I got it sent to me directly from the composer in the UK, Francis Monkman. Francis didn’t even know his tune was being used as a bumper on a US show.

Do you have a link that contains the music you can’t identify?

Whatever it is it must be something that matches Seans personality...dull.

Can’t swear to it but it might be an Irish group that’s been around for a while called “The Wolftones’’.

I used to have the Wolfetones on one of those black vinyl plate things that spun around. Very political.

It could be that Irish inspirational instrumental they play around Reagan clips. Don't know the name but it might come from the Heritage Foundation clips.

“Black vinyl plate things’’. You’re kidding right? You mean a 33 and a third vinyl long-play record? :-) BTW , the Irish poet Wolf Tone was very political.

No I wish I did. They stopped playing it and I never recorded it.
