Appearing on MSNBC, Monday, to promote his new special on Barack Obama, Chris Matthews attacked "older white people" for still holding bigoted feelings against the first African American President.
Lavishing praise on younger Americans, he added, "And I think that's a generalization and I'll stick with it. I think younger people do not see race as an obstacle." He then touted the "non-judgmental" attitude of Obama voters, fawning, "In fact, they say [race is] irrelevant and don't even notice it, whereas older people notice it all the time."

For about 30 minutes maybe? He is an idiot of epic proportions. When slime bags like Matthews, call us racists, instead of saying I am not a racist, why don't we say we don't accept the idea in the first place, and tell him to put it where the sun don't shine?

That being said, I agree with his statement, "I think younger people do not see race as an obstacle" as evidenced by the attitude I see in my kids and their friends (none that I know of are Obamulan Libtardians). So why does Chris keep making race an issue?

Nobody is like you. Nobody has the head size, nobody slobbers as much when they talk fast, nobody puts forth conversational gambits only to shoot them down as traps for your guests. I do however, as an older white person, have a vast wealth of experience with people of many races, colors, backgrounds, national origins, etc.
Over that period of time, I have paid attention to what appear to be trends of behaviour, deportment, social attitudes, values, etc. and I admittedly compare what I see in a person I meet with those data. If they do not comply with the behaviours which I have found to be normative, they do not fit the pattern, for good or ill.
The fact that I have experience to draw from which tells me a person or group may be trouble doesn't make me a bigot, it makes me experienced.
Besides, to make such a judgemental statement as "older white people are bigots" seems just a bit prejudicial in itself. Is Chrissy running for poster child?
The progressiviks use the terms bigot and racist as a smear to marginalize people they don’t agree with. Which is sad, because people have the right to regard others in a negative way, for whatever reason they wish. If someone calls me a racist I dismiss their accusation as Marxist drivel- I despise Obama for his communist beliefs, not the color of his skin. Dr. King would have wanted it that way, after all...:)
I doubt there is anybody on FR who not vote for Lt. Co. Allen West for POTUS. We are way past color of skin. What counts are merit, accomplishment, ability and, above all, commitment to core principles, mainly restoring the Constitutional Republic and getting the damn government out of our lives. Who cares what color they are as long as they are not commie red.

Exactly. I can’t stand because of his color and not his race. His color is RED. I hated reds when they were caucasian Russians and East Germans too.
I had to laugh at Mathews asking “did you notice the age difference?” between the two clips. Sorry Chris, they both looked like old white guys to me. If Mathews is 65, I guess he only considers people “old” if they are over 75.
