Rush Limbaugh and Adolph Hitler get mentioned together a lot by "progressives," but this latest example tops them all.
Two New Age practitioners writing for The Huffington Post speculate on "What Buddha Might Say to Rush Limbaugh."
After explaining that even Hitler must be forgiven if one wishes to attain enlightenment, the authors add in the very next paragraph: "Fast forward and apply this teaching to Rush Limbaugh. We can see his ignorance (it's pretty unavoidable) and hope that he'll become aware of the suffering he is causing and the ignorance he is perpetuating. We can hope that he'll change his ways. We can also wish him well. This is also for our own benefit so we don't hold on to such negativity."
Meanwhile, writing for the venerable, highbrow, conservative periodical Commentary, professor Wilfred M. McCay explained "How To Understand Rush Limbaugh." His essay is thoughtful primer on how Rush changed radio, and American conservatism.
On the air this week, as the U.S. struggled to cope with massive snowfalls, Rush Limbaugh mocked Al Gore for insisting that this weather was due to global warming (FREE video):

Good Lord.
The Zen interpretation is different but respect would be paid to Limbaugh having found his own path to satori.
They don’t know Buddha. Buddha would have liked Rush.
The sickness of The Woodstock Generation and its aftermath
And here alot of us just thought it was a phase
It turned out to be a mental disorder . big time
Poor Buddha, it has such sickos as disciples
Buddha loves truth. Rush speaks truth.
RL is one of the smartest and sane people around.
I don’t believe a true Buddha would care.
One toke over the line.
A Buddhist monk is stopped over at Dulles airport and only has time to grab a quick bite. He sees a hotdog vendor so he digs in his orange robe, finds a twenty, forks it over and orders a tofu-dog.
Rush Limbaugh is also scarfing a dog, notices the monk and asks him,
“Are you going to ask him to make you one with everything?”
The monk looks him up-and-down and says, “I know who you are. Even Hitler must be forgiven if one wishes to attain enlightenment. I can only hope that you will become aware of the suffering you are causing and the ignorance you are perpetuating. I can hope that you change your ways. I can also wish you well. This is also for the benefit of all of us so we don’t hold on to such negativity.”
Then the Holy Man turned to the vendor, pushing his cart `down the road’ and yelled: “Where’s my change?”.
And Rush, over his shoulder, walking away said:
“Change comes from within, chief.”
Buddha would say, “dittos!”
Actually Buddha would probably be a conservative, given that he believed in charity and virtue. He certainly wouldn’t be looking to use force to confiscate the fruit of other people’s labor.
Back in those years, you could buy a hit on just about anyone for $50-100. Families would sell a daughter for a sexual tryst to earn much needed money. Neighborhood boys were told they couldn't play on a rope swing because we were afraid of liabilities. Brother went out to swing, rope broke and he fell and hit his back on a tree root. Rope had been cut nearly through. I am just scratching the surface. Oh, didn't even start telling you about the Muslim south and all of the killing going on back then. Um, now it's happening again. Tell me ALL about the benefits of the values of Buddhism AND Islam. Ignorant Americans seem always ready to fall for lies. The quickest way to be vilified in the United States is to tell the truth.
Don’t know much about Buddha. Do know something about Jesus, however. Jesus would be throwing the money changers out of Congress and facing down O.
Who cares what liberals or Buddha thinks of anything?
You got to hand to libtards. They are totally unaware of how closely they resemble Hitler and Nazism as they accuse others of being so.
At the same time Buddha probably didn't know a whole lot about Buddhist society since that society was just getting started in his lifetime ~
Unraveling the traditional superstitions from the core beliefs is a bit difficult.
Jesus was the most generous person on earth, but he could make 0b0z0 sh*t in his own boot and eat it.
A tad colorful but none the less true.
