Sarah Palin has hired a veteran operative to serve as a chief of staff to her loosely organized team, one of the biggest indicators yet that the former Alaska governor is leaning toward a run for the White House.

POLITICO confirmed late Friday night that Palin has hired Michael Glassner to serve the key role.

You remember how that rabscuttle loser got away with bashing rino McCain non-stop on freerepublic.com?

You are polar opposite. You will fail at posting anti-Palin threads from now on. Palin is a Conservative. You are a Palin basher on a Pro-Palin website.

Seriously, why do you think anyone is interested in your anti Palin threads & posts? We get it.. you hate the Conservative family. Her husband, father, brother are all true blue Conservative men and yet you continue to bash Palin daily.

You fail. Pretty soon you will be reduced to using one of your other user names on freerepublic., but you'll still fail as this is Palin Country.

Michael directed campaign travel and scheduling, logistical advance, personnel, budgets, fundraising, and other campaign activities in 2008 for her.

And he participated in strategy and planning for McCain/Palin 2008, according to the same resume. He doesn't seem to be just a logistics guy.

I'm sure he's fine at his job, but I'm not sure why he'd be someone to get particularly excited about.

Loser, you are. Palin will be the Republican Nominee and you stated in an earlier post you will vote for her if she is the Nominee. Ha

Hope the moderator bans the overt Palin bashers soon enough. She might have a Q & A session on fr.com down the road, so Palin basher need to find a different website to post their Palin hate.

No one wants Palin haters hanging around while she's running for POTUS. It's obvious piss-loser et al have an anti-Palin agenda cuz y'all scared. Ha

It's pretty silly to say those supporting equally or more conservative candidates don't have a legitimate point whey they say Palin has negative approval numbers that make it much harder for her to be elected than other potential nominees.

Michele Bachmann and Herman Cain are equally good candidates without 2-1 negative poll numbers. So why wouldn't either make a better candidate than Palin?

She broke under the pressure of being governor due to various forms of gridlock. Then she resigned. Being president has far more pressures. How will she handle that?? Just curious.

This guy sounds like a real pro at running the logistics in a national campaign. If Sarah is going to hire someone with national experience she’s probably going to get someone who worked for Dole, Bush or McCain.

Yes, Dole lost to Clinton, but I doubt that had to do with poor travel scheduling…btw, Dole won Iowa twice and won the Republican nomination while this gentleman worked for him.

This is just the kind of experienced pro that shows me she is serious, I don’t get the negative outlook…you know none of the Bush organization is going to work with her (they are dreaming of Jeb) Who else should she hire, some unproven rookie?

With his vast experience perhaps he’s learned from observing earlier mistakes? He certainly has the connections.

It’s really funny, the people who dislike Governor Palin think this is a poor hire...I think it’s just wishful thinking on their part. They HOPE its a bad hire.

But then, they’ve already proven they haven’t a clue about Presidential candidates or what it would take for a conservative to win...

No, you're not 'just curious.'

You are either woefully uninformed or willfully ignorant.

Your comment does say a lot about you though.

Well lets see who would have a better record, Karl Rove? No thanks, Lee Atwater, no, he died of a brain tumor in 1991. Talk is cheap. They will have to defeat her on the field, in the primary’s. It will be a good fight and the top two will share the ticket.

Those people could help shave off votes from Sarah Palin so the annointed RINO wins again like McCain did in 2008.

Lets not let that happen.

The guy was part of the VP campaign. He has all the names, phone numbers, and contact stops of that campaign run.

And we all know Palin was the one everybody wanted to see.

“Broke as governor”

I would say she was pissed as hate that she had to resign but she has carried through on ALL her promises that she made the day she resigned.

People need to step back and think what would the country look like today and what would we be facing if Governor Palin had never resigned.

I for one am glad that she resigned.

Think about it.
