My son has a good friend who was recently diagnosed with Parkinson’s (age 23). He was counseled on the side effect of hypersexuality when he was prescribed his drugs and was also told to stay out of the casinos. They didn’t mention turning him gay though.

“Sinemet - long used drug for Parkenson’s Disease. Here is one side effect:
Note hypersexuality. Nervous System/Psychiatric: psychotic episodes including delusions, hallucinations, and paranoid ideation, neuroleptic malignant syndrome, bradykinetic episodes (”on-off” phenomenon), confusion, agitation, dizziness, somnolence, dream abnormalities including nightmares, insomnia, paresthesia, headache, depression with or without development of suicidal tendencies, dementia, pathological gambling, increased libido including hypersexuality, impulse control symptoms. Convulsions also have occurred; however, a causal relationship with Sinemet has not been established.”

Other than that, the tremors stopped.

Here is a list of what many doctors refer to as “Lavender” diseases. They occur with extraordinary frequency among male homosexuals.

Anal Cancer
Chlamydia trachomatis
Cryptosporidium
Giardia lamblia
Herpes simplex virus
Human immunodeficiency virus
Human papilloma virus
Isospora belli
Microsporidia
Gonorrhea
Viral hepatitis types B & C
Syphilis

They really are a filthy bunch who, at best, make up 1 1/2% to 2% of the population, and yet they consume over 30% of medical treatments and hospitalization.

Maybe the drug just made him aware that he was a gambling, gay sex addict. LOL!!

Looks like someone actually read the fine print on the drug warning literature, and figured out a way to cash in. He must have missed the part where it tells you to discontinue use and contact your doctor immediately if any of the symptoms arise.
