The defamation you speak of sure didn't accomplish much, did it? The libs got crushed in November.

Your post is what I would expect from liberals going after Tea Partiers - to harasss them. Conservatives win the debate on merits.

Do what Reagan did with the air traffic controllers i.e. fire every single one of them but, this time, don’t hire any more. Make the facilities and money being wasted on the pubic schools up to now available to private schools and home school alliances.

Find the doctors giving false excuses and remove their licenses. These are the same doctors that will write scripts for medical mary jane and Vicodin for cousin Vinny. They have proven they can't be trusted billing for Medicare and Medicaid. This just proves that a "doctor" isn't the pinnacle of virtue they seem to think they are.

Tell teachers that anyone sick on Tuesday morning has forfeit their job and carry it out. Many will seem to "feel better" when they know their career is over. The ones that are still "sick" aren't real teachers anyway.

” very little that Walker can do. “

It is the Governor’s duty, usually through the Secretary of State, to enforce the laws of the State, including the laws covering Fraud, and Conspiracy to Commit Fraud - and to prosecute when those laws are broken....

I don’t believe that there’s any provision on the books in Wisconsin, which sets aside ‘Teachers’, ‘Union Members’, or ‘Demonstrators’ as Protected Classes, exempt from these laws.....

I don’t know how it works in Wisconsin, but in most states, teachers are employed by the local school board. They may bet part, or even most, of their salary from the state, but the hiring/firing decisions are made at the local level. So, to answer your question, the governor probably can’t fire them.

Thanks Balch3 - I should have known that well had I stopped to think for a moment I would have remembered that. I’m just so mad over this that I didn’t think. Bussing in people from SEIU, legislators running off to another state - it’s just ridiculous!

If the Dems don’t want to vote for the union busting ideas that the Governor has they should man up and vote no! They’re afraid they’ll be voted out or otherwise they’d be there to vote no.

I don’t know what that Governor can do but he has to be pissed as hell. If I had a child that wasn’t able to go to school I’d be furious also!

Have the govenor declare that the missing RATs are in fact ababdoning their jobs in the legislature & that they have conspired to violate the rights of all the citizens of the state that are represented by the Republicans.

As such they & the unions are financially responsible for any damage done to govt property, freeze all salaries to the RAT members who are absent place liens on all of their bank accounts/properties/homes as well as their staffs who obviously were in on this scam & the wisconsin RAT party as well

Make that Tuesday. Monday is a mandatory furlough day - that is, a required day of unpaid leave. At least for the DOT.

If you get a chance, read about what Walker did during his years as County Exec of Milwaukee. He's no stranger to this kind of standoff with the unions. And he knows that the only way he can lose is by caving.

“I would just go back to business without them - I notice they are back in session Tuesday & no, they do not need that quorum to introduce and pass any non fiscal items - like right to Work & shall issue carry permit.”

That’s if law enforcement can move the capital campers out.
And that a big if.

Gov Walker will begin to look weak, if law and order does not return soon. Sure, a couple days of chaos won’t hurt anything.
But at some point, law abiding citizens are going to start asking why law and order is not being enforced.

Everyday that these bottom dwellers do not have access to a young mind is a good day, IMO. May they never return to “work”.

Find the doctors giving false excuses and remove their licenses.

Collect up all the "Doctor's Excuses", figure out which doctor wrote the most, add up all his written excuses, figure out how fast he had to be cranking them out (probably as fast as he could write), and file a complaint with the state Medical Licensing Board for sub-standard care; he couldn't possibly have determined that all those patients were unfit to work in that amount of time.

No, we are better off allowing the antics to continue. Let the teachers piss off the parents by keeping the schools shut down. It will come back to bite them.

We should start getting angry with the Repubs if they don't take this as an opportunity to pass Voter ID, Right to Work, Vermont-style CCW, and Stand Your Ground laws, none of which needs the Dems for quorum.

Seconded. Some of us who live here would prefer not to live under martial law. We need not stoop to their level. We need not become the despots the left accuse us of being.

You are exactly correct. The people at their desks now are taking the high road. Why would they want to surrender that by abusing the law and abusing their positions? Stay at your desks and do what you can do. Delay does not hurt the Republicans at all, when the delay us PURELY the fault of those who have abandoned their responsibility.

I wouldnt care less if they left.
I would do business as usual.
We cannot be held hostage to Communist organizers and the longer they stay the worse it will look for them.

...“These are the same doctors that will write scripts for medical mary jane”.....

These are the same "TYPE OF" doctors that will write scripts for medical mary jane.

There are doctors and there are "doctors". There are doctors that testify every day for money in lawsuits that don't even believe their own testimony, but because they have Dr. in front of their name, they are respected, expert witnesses. There are doctors writing scripts for Vicodin for people they have never met and on and on. Anyone that would write a doctors excuse for a person they haven't examined needs to lose their license. They are parasites on the system that will write fraudulent scripts for Medicaid and Medicare fraud.

My point was these are the same doctors that write marijuana scripts for hippies and add to the problems we have in medicine today. They are the same doctors that commit fraud every day in every state on Medicare and are breaking the system for the rest of us.

Just as one example, My mother in law needed a scooter when she broke her hip and could no longer walk. The screws and metal left her with nerve damage and she never walked or stood again. The doctor wrote her up to get a scooter for Medicare. Upon submitting the papers to Medicare, she got a letter saying she was trying to defraud the government because she had already gotten a scooter. Some doctor had already gotten a scooter for someone in her name. We protested and the government refused to follow up on it, so she remained bed bound until we ponied up for our own scooter. So much for paying for Medicare all your life. It probably went to an illegal alien or someone selling them on craigslist. An honest doctor would have prevented all this. There isn't one state in the union that you can't find a "Doctor Feel Good" to get a script for dope, or a doctor to testify in court to the most ridiculous testimony you could imagine as long as they get paid.

How about that doctor for rent for Mickey Jackson.....he was a real winner,...right? I'll bet the doctors writing excuses for striking teachers would go a lot cheaper than $300k per year.

We must be benign, treat the union thugs with kindness and openness. Let it be them who act with brutality, let them lose the war of public opinion.

But DO NOTHING! Let them protest the fact that they cant rip off the States Tax payers as they have been for generations now. But don’t let them lye about it or avoid the essential fact that they exist to rip off the taxpayer.
