My understanding is that Gov. Walker does not have the power to fire the teachers. Individual school boards, maybe?
Since he can’t trust the police, he should call in National Guard troops to put an end to this chaos. He shouldn’t let this insanity go on and on.
Was hoping. But yeah, it’s the local school boards that hire/fire teachers.

This is a strike, it just hasn’t been called that yet. But for sure, it needs to be dealt with in the same way.
Ever since the Las Vegas SEIU got involved in its' "union" demands in Las Vegas for the election that bagged us Obama, my family's vacations will be planned elsewhere. Yes, elections (and union activist protests) have long term consequences.
