My primary survival advice:

A group is always more effective than an individual. Get to know your neighbors and which ones you can trust. Organize. Help each other.

Depends on your neighbors. I have quiet few that would certainly turn into 'Locust' if confronted with SHTF!

So for now I will keep OSPEC and see who steps forward and who cringes.
