LOS ANGELES Hollywood and older Americans have never had much use for each other. The 50-plus crowd doesnt go to opening weekends or buy popcorn; a youth-obsessed Hollywood has happily ignored them.

That kind of stuff used to be reserved for the 3 am dark alley crowd. Now it seems to be accepted. Gross.
Keep good movies coming like The King’s speech and True Grit and they will come.
I went to see The Eagle and I Am Number Four. 4 was definitely a teeny flick, not that appealing to this 44 Y.O.
The Eagle was excellent though, I love historical dramas, my fondness for such subjects increasing as I get older.
Obama Hollywood and Obama TV can go to h*ll. I will not watch any of their crap. The last good film I saw was German and Rush was a big proponent of it. The Lives of Others. I avoid any British movies now because they push a PC and gay agenda in almost every movie.
Hollywood is garbage. People here posting about legend Kirk Douglas. The guy was always slime and the son is a huge lib.
