In an interview with NBC’s Jeff Rossen that aired on TODAY Monday morning, Charlie Sheen, the combative star of long-running hit “Two and a Half Men,” demanded a raise from approximately $2 million to $3 million per episode to come back to the set of the show. CBS and Warner Bros. Television have currently halted production for the show’s ninth season in the wake of Sheen’s very public rants against “Men” creator Chuck Lorre and Alcoholics Anonymous.
“I’m not angry, I’m passionate,” Sheen told Rossen. “It’s everybody thinks I should be begging for my job back, and I’m just going to forewarn them that it’s everybody else that’s going to be begging me for their job back.”
Though he claimed he has been swamped with offers for movies, Sheen said: “I am a man of my word, so I will finish the TV show. I’ll even do season 10, but at this point, [because of] psychological distress, oh, my God, it’s 3 mil an episode.”

I'm not being compassionate I guess, but when a guy is making $2,000,000 an episode which goes up his nose in the form of coke then goes nuts, costs over 100 people their jobs, and continues to act like Zeus.... well yeah I don't have pity for this bum.
If anyone on this website was given 3 mil just once they would be able to live off it the rest of their lives through smart investments and avoiding binge drug parties with lots of hookers and booze.

Agreed. Charlie Sheen is close to 50 years old. What can his Father really do? Ground him, give him a sound talking to? The best that Martin Sheen can do right now is maintain a relationship with his grandchildren. IMHO

Can anyone identify what substance this dude is on during the video. Doesn't seem like booze because he is not slurring. I am thinking an upper like cocaine.
I know we have several doctors on FR so I am actually curious. The guy is wired so my best guess as an amateur is that he is on coke.
Martin was quick enough to call Bush “ a white-knuckle drunk”. He needs to look a little closer to home.

Bigger people than him have fallen, when the courts get involved. They really don't care who you are.
This is one of the most dysfunctional, nasty shows I saw.
The only good actors whom I would like to see again together in a comedy are the housekeeper, the mother, and the kid.
Only Charlie can help Charlie. He's 45 years old for cryin out loud. I am sure that at this point, Martin has turned over the final resolution to God's will.

What about the grandkids? Are you willing to give everybody a pass on their safety? This guy is crazy and violent. And only his Dad can intervene.
I am finding this whole public meltdown fascinating. Give a not so bright guy millions of dollars for doing something very unimportant, let him get away with crime after crime, throw in alcohol and drugs, why wouldn’t the guy think he’s God!
