I wonder what percentage of nursing home patients today are there because of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. My mother is in one with Dementia, and my guess is that 80% of the patients in the already full facility do have one of the forms of Alzheimer’s. I can only imagine how crowded they will be when the larger part of bell-curve of the baby-boomers start showing up.
