(Reuters) - The Washington Post apologized to an Arizona daily newspaper on Wednesday after a two-time Pulitzer-Prize winning reporter plagiarized coverage of accused Tucson gunman Jared Loughner. The Washington Post issued the apology to The Arizona Republic after two articles written by reporter Sari Horwitz, who won Pulitzers in 1999 and 2002, were found to contain "borrowed and duplicated" material from the newspaper.

Next thing you know they'll be caught for lying and supporting left-wing causes!/s
I get all of the news I need right here.
Shows how low the Post has gone. Having to apologize to the RAG (Arizona Republic). Arizona Republic had this prominently displayed on their site. Funny how they don’t do that when THEY need corrections to their outright lies on their stories.
Modern day media.
Another 2011 nominee for The Jayson Blair Prize for Excellence in Journalistic Plagiarism.
Every word you read here has been plagiarized from the Oxford English Dictionary.
What does a Nobel prize mean now the Algore, Krugman and Obamah have won them for doing nothing?
Uhhh .... Shouldn't The Washington Post also apologize to its paying customers?
Let no one else's work evade your eyes,
Remember why the good Lord made your eyes,
So don't shade your eyes,
But plagiarize, plagiarize, plagiarize -
Only be sure always to call it please 'research'."
Oh yes, maybe I should credit Tom Lehrer for that.
this is like the bear apologizing for crapping in the woods. Plagarisim is just a variation on the normal kind of lying liberals engage in every day. They are what they are.
Another Affirmative Action Pulitzer winner caught plagarizing (they should create a plagarism award to award on these occasions and name it after Janice Cook)
Apologizing to the Arizona People’s Republic for plagiarism is like apologizing to a St. Bernard after you stepped in a turd he deposited on your lawn.
So true.
The fact that all mainstream media mirrors & parrots one another so closely how could you ever tell an authentic case of plagiarism? One would have to copy someone’s words verbatim to be guilty of it. But seeing as how their reporting is usually so close - event to the point of using similar words & phrases: someone must not want the credit taken away from oneself. The press is so intellectually lazy that they all might as well be plagiarists as they all sound so similar to one another.

“We thought we made it up ourselves.”
that’s exactly how they think.
