Trump Has 'Just a Little' Doubt Obama Was Born in America
FoxNews ^ | March 17, 2011

Potential presidential candidate Donald Trump says he has "just a little" doubt that President Obama is U.S.-born but his feeling doesn't make him an "idiot."

The mogul and TV reality star suggested in an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America" that aired Thursday that he's reluctant to discuss the topic because "everybody that even gives any hint of being a 'birther,' a word you didn't use, even a little bit of a hint like, 'gee, maybe you know, just maybe there is this much of a chance,' they label them as an idiot."

“Barry hasn’t got the heritage, the education, the mindset or the instincts of an American citizen. And he shows it every day. “

Now THAT would make a great tagline...or a bumper sticker!

most people probably do not remember with whom they went to kindergarten.

Well, I didn't go to kindergarten, so I have to reason based upon my first grade experience. I was not yet five years old when I started. (Now I'm 60+.) I remember quite a few names now of the others, none of whom became lifelong friends. But that isn't really the question. Rather, it is whether upon hearing a name in the news I would recognize it as someone who was in my first grade class. I think I would have a pretty good batting average with this.

It’s just so difficult for me to see St. Hillary of the Giant Ambition forgoing some piece of info that might have put her in the WH.

Gotta love this stuff with WE have to prove he’s not a citizen...

I am not talking about how we the people have to prove that 0bama is not a citizen.

I am saying that if Donald Trump wants to use the "0bama is not a citizen" campaign plank, it is up to him to show irrefutable proof that 0bama is not a citizen. Anything less will destroy his credibility as a candidate. As another poster pointed out, Trump does have the finances to fund such an effort, and could most likely pull it off if he chose to.

The issue w/Perot was that he was a third party candidate. Trump would run as a Republican, and the contrast between his platform and 0’s would be stunning.

I could not disagree more. He would be another H. Ross Perot and we all know how well that worked out.

I *mostly* agree with you, but there is a slight chance that Trump could beat up on 0bama so effectively that he drives zer0's negatives way up making it easier for a good conservative POTUS to be elected.

Of course it also makes it more likely that if that were the case then TRUMP would be the likely VP choice (I don't think Trump will be the top choice in any event.)

So, it is a sketchy but possible scenario.

Because Soros had chosen Obama - probably because he could get the black vote and Muslim money - and without Soros Hillary could get nowhere.

There are other things to consider as well. Phil Berg was a Hillary supporter who presented in court the claim that there was a Kenyan birth certificate. In that case and in another case where a Kenyan birth certificate was actually submitted as evidence, the court refused to do anything with the claim.

And even if Hillary herself came out with a lawsuit and documents (being the ultimate “birther” to be ridiculed by the media who was documentably threatened by Soros’ thugs both before and after the election), the legal verification of the document’s genuineness would hit a snag because any country that had birth records for Obama would not come out with verification of that fact; keeping it a question would give them bribery power over Obama once he was elected. What power would they have over Hillary if she was elected?

After what we’ve been through I think a person would have to be absolutely crazy to trust the current system to ever come up with accurate or trustworthy results on verifying eligibility. We have a tendency to think that politics is war, but that’s only the case in republican primaries, because nobody owns the republican party. On the part of the dems, Soros owns the party so there is no real dissension among the ranks. Who Soros ordains gets the good media treatment; who Soros doesn’t ordain may as well go camp out at Ft Marcy Park.

And the same thing holds true once people are elected to Congress. The R’s and D’s alike cover each other’s rear ends. None of them wants real accountability because it would screw up their “sausage making process”. The whole system is corrupt. The only disinfectant is the scrutiny of the public. Not the media, not Congressional committees, not even law enforcement. The public - the people who (aside from the unions) aren’t so easily bought and sold in bulk.

most people probably do not remember with whom they went to kindergarten. I sure as heck don't.

Then perhaps the problem lies with your memory. I remember the names of most of the kids I went to kindergarten with or at the least would remember their name if they were running for POTUS. I even remember my teacher's name ... but then again she was also my mother.

"0bama isn't a citizen"

There you go again, using the commie talking points.
It is his NATURAL BORN CITIZENSHIP that is in question.

IF as he says he is bho, JR. then he is in no way a NATURAL BORN citizen.

Barry hasn't got the heritage, the education, the mindset or the instincts of an American citizen. And he shows it every day.

Well said! 0bama has shown time and time again that he doesn't possess, or even understand, The American culture. He is not an American.

beyond a shadow of a doubt that 0bama isn't a citizen.

Let's keep it honest here - a requirement to be president is being a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN.

Anything less will destroy his own credibility and ensure that we are stuck with 0bama until 2017.

Oh pleeeze! Fear tactics are so liberal.

"Donald, the real issue relates to the citizenship status of both of his parents. Where he was born isn’t nearly as important."

Exactly. Since his father was born in Kenya, and was a British subject, the jug-eared bastard is not a natural born citizen. It does not matter if he was born in Kenya or Indonesia or Hawaii or Mars.

Although I agree with you in theory, the Constitution does not require one to have been raised in America, only to have lived here for 14 years and to be a NATURAL BORN CITIZEN 35 y/o or more.

It doesn’t matter where he was born, his father was not a USA citizen. A natural born citizen must have both parents as USA citizens - that is a requirement to be president.

I know that — but I think the intention was to make sure that any leader understood what it was he was leading.
