A brawl broke out on a New York City subway car after one passenger apparently got upset over another passenger eating a big container of spaghetti on the crowded car.
The video was posted to YouTubeand first reported by nyctheblog. The user who uploaded it says that it involved a Brooklyn train. There is no indication of what line it happened and what day it took place.
In the video, which contains profanity, starts with some arguing. Then one woman says, "What kind of animals eat on the train?"
The woman eating the spaghetti responds, "What kind of fat ****** looks like you?"
The back-and forth continues until both women stand up and get in each other's faces. Then the spaghetti went flying and the two passengers start a physical confrontation. Other people on the broke up the fight but the back and forth continues until the video ends.
Typical NYC behavior.

One woman with some class and common respect trying to teach another who is just above an animal a more decent way to behave in civilization.
Wasted effort.
The poor woman who was attacked had no idea she was dealing with someone who has probably been trained since she was a toddler to look for any excuse at all to attack “whitey.”

But if I HAD to use public transportation, I'd rather be sitting next to someone eating spaghetti, than sitting next to a fricking gum chewer cracking it in my face at 90 db. Eeeeewwww. Gross.

I think the woman who started to criticize the woman eating spaghetti was out of line. The subway commute is not the time and the place to give etiquette lessons to complete strangers who didn’t seem to have been bothering her in the first place.
We didn’t see the whole incident, so maybe the two younger women did single her out and insult her first, but it really looks like she just picked a fight.
One person ruins it for the rest of us!
I could never figure out why people would eat on the subway- it’s like eating in the bathroom. Nonetheless, the white woman was wrong. The other two women weren’t bothering her or sitting near her. Just mind your own business. Kudos to the man who tried to calm things down.And he actually protected the white woman from getting hurt. Showed some real courage. He was the only sensible one there.
Didn’t look that crowded. Woman should have minded her own business.
Without seeing pictures, and without any descriptions,
you just knew that this involved one or more people of a certain cultural minority...
Commuter train culture is foreign to me. Is eating on a train considered animal like behavior?
