Had a Swedish mother. One of the worst of all sins when I was growing up was “putting on airs.” So after I left home, I spent a couple of decades putting on airs before I finally figured out she was right.

We overcame a Civil War, two world wars, The New Deal, Korea, Vietnam, the depression, Carter, Disco and probably a few other things.
While there will always be tension between the right and left there is nothing that can overcome a desire to be free and number one.
Americas entire culture is historically steeped in freedom and being number one.
Hell it is our genetic design and we can’t be anything else but number one and free.

Me too, except 3 of mine are over 50”. I own some nice trucks but I wouldn’t drive sissy cars like Volvos, Audis or BMWs. I do own lots of firearms, or I did before the boating accident. I am also allowed to use them actually protect my family, property and myself. I spent a lot of time in Europe and married a European woman. She was a typical Euroweenie socialist when I first met her. Now she is conservative and wants to stay in Texas. I agree with her. We used to own a home in Germany. My yard now is bigger than the block I lived on In Germany. There is nothing in Europe I want bad enough to live there for. BTW, how crime free is life for Christian girls in Malmo lately? Maybe letting people up there pack heat would cut down on the whole rape thing?

Because the shrinking class of producers in the USA is forced by law to give up one third to one half of their income to the bloated, inefficient governments (local, state and federal) so they can buy votes from the non-producers, they barely have enough for the basics for their families. When we get tired of being pushed around and get a little courage, we will be using the Egyptian method of government reform. Until that tipping point, we suffer in relative silence.
