Just watched ‘The Forgotten’.
Alternate realities. Makes you wonder what percentage of the population might be possessed by others.
Don’t recall seeing it.
I don’t divide between
oppressed vs possessed very often.
I prefer the collective term for both:
“demonized.”
If we consider both . . . I wouldn’t be surprised if it were close to 90% or more.
If satan and crew don’t have Believers, they are working hard to at least hinder and oppress Believers.
If they have folks under their heavy handed influence, it may seem like the individual is fairly unfettered. However, usually, there’s some addiction involved that’s managed quite well by one or more of Screwtape’s colleagues.
Many Believers are rage-aholics and think it’s quite OK.
Others are workaholics and think THAT’S quite righteous!
Derek Prince was one of the best experts on such things, imho.

John Bevere in THE BAIT OF SATAN is quite insightful. Offense in relationships and unforgiveness are great seed beds of demonic influence.
Well worth reading, study and application.
His ENEMY ACCESS DENIED looks good but I haven’t read it, yet.
BONDAGE BREAKER by Neil T Anderson is an excellent classic in the field.
