This movement has almost a half-million followers and we all understand the power of social media. I've been following the comments and it appears the blame is being split evenly between Democrats and Republicans however few are blaming Obama.

TOPICS:
KEYWORDS: budget; budgetfight; facebook; fb; governmentshutdown; military; pay; payourtroops; troops
Two Republicans, Jack Kingston, R-Ga, and Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, are the bill sponsors.

This is great, TSgt. It must go viral!

Okay people, if we can get a Facebook game for Breast Cancer Awareness onto international news this should be simple! We the American people need to send a clear message to Washington that not paying our military service members is NOT AN OPTION!

It is time for our generation to stand up and let this government know that regardless of our party affiliations there are things that are UNACCEPTABLE to us as Americans. These men and... women put their lives on the line everyday to protect the privileges and freedoms we all enjoy!

Please pass this along to as many people as possible as well as send invites to the congress men and women that represent your state letting them know that they need to pass this bill.

(If you are more interested in learning about the specifics of the bill you can visit kingston.house.gov, or the Facebook page of Jack Kingston, R-Ga, or Louie Gohmert, R-Texas who are the sponsors of the bill)

AGAIN this should not be about partisanship, but rather doing what is RIGHT as a nation to honor all those who currently serve and all those who have gone before and given their life as the ULTIMATE SACRIFICE for the AMERICAN PEOPLE!

*** P.S.- PLEASE DON’T LET THIS JUST BE ANOTHER FACEBOOK PAGE TO “JOIN” OR “LIKE” THIS IS A CALL TO ACTION!!! MANY OF US CANNOT LEAVE OUR JOBS/FAMILIES TO GO PICKETT WASHINGTON BUT OUR VOICES CAN STILL BE HEARD!!! CONTACT YOUR STATE REPRESENTATIVE TODAY!

Tell our soldiers we support them. For the president to say he will VETO pay to our warriors is the most outrageous act yet! Click on the link - let our troops know WE THE PEOPLE SUPPORT YOU -

& let those who won't know we WILL NOT SUPPORT THEM. A pox on all their houses. (They would faint dead away if they had to pick up a gun and go into harms way. Lily livered SCUM.)

Have we EVER had such an American-hating, military hating POS for CIC in the history of our great country?

Get Congress off it's dead behinds and pass a budget. That'll ensure pay for the Military through 2011.

made my calls - one of our 2 congresscritters message box was full - either getting hammered or deliberatly not taking calls?

The other got a piece of my mind.

My state finally went back to it’s roots in Nov - we now have, for the first time in 50 years - all 3 houses. Now to complete the job in 2012 and get rid of the 2 libRat congresscreatures.
