As the debate about Obama's birthplace rages through the media, inflamed by Donald Trump, one man has brought another conspiracy theory back to life.
Rumours were rife in 2008 when Sarah Palin announced her pregnancy with her fifth child that the baby actually belonged to her daughter Bristol and the Alaska governor wanted to avoid a scandal while running for vice president.

I remember when Sarah was elected governor of Alaska. I remember seeing she was way pregnant and thinking, this woman has 4 kids and is about to give birth again, she’s nuts....lol
This whole rumor that Trig isn’t her’s is so stupid.
Thanks for posting this steaming load of horse crap story.
Desperation is a beautiful thing to watch when it’s in politics and after last call.
I never understood this. Bristol HAD a baby? Are they saying that Sarah was hiding that Bristol had two babies, months apart?
So are these people called the “no birthers”?
How would Bristol have had two children within a few months?
I don’t recall Sarah running for VP.
She’s Alaskan, for crying out loud, with a husband and four kids at home. Of course she’d fly home to have the baby there.
This nonsense is coming out to take attention off 0bama’s lack of constitutional credentials, and off his miserable agenda. If it can ridicule Sarah out of running in ‘12, so much the better. 0bviously, he doesn’t know her. Have you seen her Madison, WI speech?!
Alinsky Rule #3.
She was interviewed by an Israeli man for some documentary about Alaskan life while she was Governor(I believe it was sometime in August 2008) you can CLEARLY see she is pregnant, she even receives the phone call while being interviewed that she is having a boy..liberal morons will do anything to deflect focus on their lying, deceitful, sack of crap Marxist in Chief
8 months apart, and after Trig was 1 month pre and with Downs.
HIGHLY unlikely.
Indeed.
Plus, quite frankly, the fact Trig is Down Syndrome makes it more likely “old” Sarah is his mom than a young girl. This is 1 of the known risks of elder women having babies.
The two babies were born 8.5 months apart. Not perhaps biologically impossible, but pretty freaking unlikely they both had the same mother.
Also Down’s syndrome is very common for women Sarah’s age, something like 1:30. 18 years olds it’s something like 1:2000.
I once pointed out to a liberal that for the conspiracy theory to be true, Bristol would have had to have conceived Tripp while being several months pregnant with Trig.

Read this because you obviously need to. If you won’t take Palin at her word maybe you’ll take this lib ADN reporter at her word.
I compliment you on finding something to say about it that won’t lead to banishment.
What garbage will they come up with next?
This makes even less sense that I first thought.
The "controversial" baby was born in April. She wasn't nominated for the campaign till August.
Why was she making decisions that would protect her vice presidential campaign 4 months before she was nominated?
Then she was nominated in late August and less than a week later announced Bristol's pregnancy. While the campaign was in full swing.
Does not compute.
And the alleged “Dad” never came forward? Kathy Griffin would have all the dirt on this by now if there were any truth to it.
Forward that to the daily mail. I dont believe this story.
Why should I care? Is Trig running for President?
