Cool. Thanks didn’t know that was on HULU.
American Beauty?!?!?! Is he nuts?
“I’m still here you bastards.”
I think you might have set the record for the longest post ever on Free Republic!
That scene was a direct lift from The Dam Busters, a Brit WWII flick that was playing on the background television while Pink lost his mind in “The Wall.”
Thanks... A.J. Quinnell/ Philip Nicholson. I’ll see what I can find and follow up with you if I don’t have any luck.
Some folks probably went sleep with all the scrolling.
won't be buying their lame book either.
ya thats it
No Kelly’s Heros...Or Monty Python and the Holy Grail..Dr Strangelove....Full Metal jacket....
Malcom X???? If they use the same scale, where is American History X? Both are about racists, but one learned the errors of his ways.
This list is a little bogus...
“...and don’t call me Shirley.”
Maybe it’s just me, but......what movie made #1???
Dead Poets Society and no Three Days of the Condor??
This cannot be!
Agreed. Some chick has been messin' with this list.
The’ve got the “The Great Escape” at the top.
After going through FR we can definitely say that this list has been upgraded.
Yeah, but notice it’s labeled #2....and the numbers increase from there; no #1....??
Sounds like a great idea for a new cable channel. Alternate with reruns of “Ultimate Grilling” and other such fare.
And a few that I forgot to include:
A Hard Day’s Night
Horsefeathers (actually I prefer Animal Crackers, but any of the Marx Paramounts suffice; this one happens to include football, so...)
On Her Majesty’s Secret Service
The Long Riders
48 Hours (yes, Walter Hill is a significant contributor to such a list)
"An Italian Neo-Realist classic..." Seriously? There is no such thing as "An Italian Neo-Realist classic" in ANY list of Men's Movies.
Hey, Brett?.... Meow, buddy.
