However, she didn’t deserve to die but that doesn’t take away from the fact that she was throwing caution to the wind if not pissing into it.
I would agree. If she hadn’t died....she would be married to a big-name ‘old’ representative/senator today...having an affair with a big-name lobbyist...having another affair with a big-name NPR guy....having another affair with someone from CNN. She’d be waiting for the old guy to kick off and likely get appointed to serve out his term. She’d eventually some elections and be on the Sunday chat shows...discussing social security, the debt, and why we need health care. She might have been a Democrat or Republican...and really not care for either party. Who knows...maybe by age 45....she would have been selected for VP under some President. All of this achieved, because of her abilities under the sheets in her youth. This is how great leaders are made in America...sarcastically spoken of course.

In a class I took recently, a scene from one of the prime-time cartoons was played. It showed a bunch of reporters descending on someone who was relaying that a young girl had been kidnapped from the neighborhood. "Oh, that's horrible," the reporters were saying.
Finally, one reporter asked, "What is the victim's name?"
"Brittany Rodriguez."
At that point all the reporters shake their heads in disgust and start walking away. We hear them muttering, "There's no story here."

Yeah, the New England media was 24/7 on the “missing mom”, Krista Dittmeyer story. The police drained local ponds and eventually found her remains. If it had been a woman from Roxbury whose car found at Columbia Point, it would have lasted one news cycle and her body would have been floating in Boston Harbor in a couple of weeks. The good news for the baby daddy was that he an ironclad alibi - he was in prison for drug dealing. Judging from the appearance of the kid he was a swarthy complected gentleman. Her family seems to have been normal middleclass types whose daughter aspired to and achieved the pinnacle of white trash status.
Was it ever confirmed Levy slept with Condit? I honestly can;t see her persuing HIM... Now if he raped her then that is another story and may have been the motive for him killing her or hiring someone to do it.
I don’t agree that they got the right guy. I still think Condit did it and was involved somehow. Same way I still think that the parents of JonBenet Ramsey were involved in their daughter’s death.
