The problem here would be why did the Neanderthals die out, without competition or aggression, from Homo Sapiens?

" The problem here would be why did the Neanderthals die out, without competition or aggression, from Homo Sapiens?" Driven by concerns over rapidly dwindling ice sheets, Neanderthals set out to decrease Neanderthalgenic Global Warming by no longer using fire. The rest is history.

The Russians are looking at a volcano for taking out the Neanderthals in European Russia, and there's always Iceland to take them out in Western europe.
Notice how antsy Europeans get when Iceland starts puffing away? They know!

They didn’t die out. They vote Democrat, believe in Global Warming, support the eugenics of Planned Parenthood and can’t understand why a BA in French Impressionism doesn’t qualify one as CEO of Goldman-Sachs....

The problem here would be why did the Neanderthals die out, without competition or aggression, from Homo Sapiens? Perhaps the increasing cold leading to the last glacial maximum (~18000 years ago) had some adverse effects on the population.
Just a guess.
