Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney's (R) healthcare speech drew quick support from fellow Bay State Sen. Scott Brown (R), who called Romney's defense of the state's healthcare plan "courageous."
Brown, who's up for reelection in the typically Democratic state next fall, offered Romney political reinforcement following the former governor's highly anticipated healthcare speech on Thursday.
"Governor Romney showed a lot of courage today by standing his ground on the reforms he put in place in Massachusetts," Brown said in a statement. "What he did as governor worked for Massachusetts by getting health insurance to more people."

I remember all of the “ScottBrownforPresident.com” web sites that popped up all over the place when this guy became Senator. People had such high hopes for him, at the end he turned out to be a big fat RINO loser, what a shame, he seemed like a decent guy, turns out he was a giant fraud
I want to hear from MA people as to how well it’s working.
You know, the real story straight from the horse’s mouth.
We knew what he was from the get go...but I still am more than glad he won....better than what could of been and the Kennedy hold was broken.
Mitt and Scott = RINO love.
I think all the excitement that Brown generated was because he was the first real shafting America gave Obummer. Also there were quite a few of us that thought that with his vote, Obamacare was DOA. Unfortunately for us, we really didn’t know the depth of Rat corruption and what they would do to get that to Obummers desk.
Actually, this is the kiss-o-death for Romney’s campaign.
Better than Martha Coakley.
Frankly it’s the folks that live in Mass. that have to put up with Brown and as he’s an enormous improvement over Kennedy he’s not done that bad a job for them.
It was exciting to see a Republican take “a Kennedy seat”. Hell, I’d have been rooting for Mr Rogers.
Hoping to get tapped as Romney’s VP candidate, I guess.
Romney showed the courage of a Samurai committing hara-kiri, with similar results.
“He’s dead, Jim!”

That’s nothing...I still remember WHICH FREEPERS were drooling for this clown to run for p_resident.
What would a candidate from Massachusetts gain from a running mate from... Massachusetts?
But hey, these guys are as arrogant as they come. They love and admire themselves quite a bit.
That’s why I was rooting for Brown too, I wanted him to win so Obamacare would die. I mean I knew he was from liberal Mass but something about him I really thought he was different, hopefully he won’t win re-election(if he runs again) but in a state like MA, maybe he’s the best we can hope for
Yes. And Myth Romney was elected governor there. 'nuff said.
Because Romney defends Masscare, still after all this time saying it’s a success, I will never, never vote for a man who cannot admit his own failures.
It’s not about states rights. It’s about believing in an absolutely terrible solution, implementing it, and refusing to admit it’s been awful for the state and continues to get worse. It’s his judgment, it’s his character. That’s what it’s about.
Yeah I mean I can’t judge, I live in California, look who we have to deal with as our Governor
Well, we can’t brag in CO, but that has a been a somewhat recent misfortune. Tons of leftist (Soros) cash has been poured in here the last several election cycles. I hope we can turn that around.
