It sucks to have to come to the conclusion that mankind is irredeemable.

If perhaps we give birth to another race, as in artificial intelligence, then perhaps we will have served SOME positive role in this universe.

But we are irredeemable.

Of course mankind is irredeemable, but men are redeemable.

“But we are irredeemable.”

Speak for yourself, buddy. The human race has come a long way despite the occasional setback.

Go ahead and jump off a cliff if you feel like it, but the rest of us will keep on keeping on.

Giving up is for the weak.

Lazamataz -=> “But we are irredeemable.”

I worked with a sysadmin[1] who posited the theory that humanity was put on this earth to foment[2] the extinction of all the other species; then it’s our turn.

Peet

[1]Of course! As a subspecies of humans, “sysadminus computicus” are the most optimistic of humans (the next release of the O.S. will really work) and the most cynical (all hardware sucks; all software sucks and all users suck). We don’t need drugs because we have UNIX!

[2] I always wanted to use that word in a sentence!

YES.

IN AND OF OURSELVES

WE

ARE

IRREDEEMABLE.

THANKFULLY, GOD HAS PLANNED FOR THAT, TOO.

HE HAS PROMISED TO WRITE HIS LAW ON OUR

HEARTS.

WITH THE BLOOD OF JESUS COVERING THOSE WHO LOVE GOD UNTIL THEN, THERE

IS

HOPE.

HIS RESURRECTION PROVES IT.

God didn’t think we were irredeemable.

Jesus didn’t die for nothing.
